Hi I am looking for a solution to limit the character count of the product title input field in Dokan add product page.

I have tried a few php code snippets that I’ve found online, but they don’t seem to work correctly. Any assistance would be amazing!

Hello guys. I have looked in setting and documentation but found nothing about how to set minimum character limit to three because im planning to develop somthing like yellow page so everytime if someone searc 1 or 2 letters it will bring companies of whole database and website will be down. Is there anyway I can set that limit to 3?

255 Character Limit for Text Area Element

Hello,

Somewhat recently I had to change a field from a text line element to a text area element, as there wasn’t enough space. However, there is still a 255 character limit. I have tried to uncheck the signup box so that I could make a new field and just keep both fields visible in the participants list but only have the working field on the signup page, but the field still shows up when adding a new participant. It seems like the database fields aren’t updating correctly when I hit Update Fields. Any help would be appreciated!

After an update in forminator, character update limit stopped working. It is stucked at 0/200. Is this an issue you can verify on your end? I know it is minor.

I am trying to limit the character count on a post/page. I have added maxlenght to the title and that works for all browsers except for Chrome. Any ideas on how to get chrome to limit the character count?

There appears to be a character limit on the “details” section of the team members profile. If you go to the page, and you mouseover Sam Wakim, or Tamara Brown or Anda Ciora you will see that the text just suddenly ends, mid-word. But on the backend, that word is complete. In fact on some of them, it is removing complete sentences. Is there a character limit on there, and how can I remove it? Or is something else causing this, and how can we fix it?

40 Character limit in address

We receive weekly questions from customers who want to order and have the order delivered to an address longer than 40 characters. In Woocommerce, the customer can enter his address in 2 lines, this is often the case with addresses of people who live in a larger apartment block and who must also state the building and / or residence on the 2nd line. The customer is informed that the address may not be longer than 40 characters. The comment we keep getting: “my address is no longer than 40 characters”. And they are right, because the street address is usually no longer than 40 characters, but with the additions it is.
Currently we have to ask to place address additions in the order notes, and then an adjustment has to be made manually in Shipping manager on the label to add the extra instructions from the customer.
Is there a possibility to only take into account the first line of the address and add the second line on the label as a reference?
