Alter the “Ticket” string from everywhere

Hello,

I tried adding the following snippet the kB to change the wordings from “Ticket” to “Contribution”, but the changes won’t take effect:

$custom_text = [
  'Ticket' => 'Contribution Tier',
  'Tickets' => 'Contribution Tiers',
];

I expect the code to change the noun strings here in the frontend and anywhere it says “Ticket”.

What am I doing wrong?

Misspelling/Translation Error

I believe there is a possible misspelling or translation error on events that are marked with a status of “Canceled”. The correct spelling (at least in the US) is “Cancelled”.

How can this be corrected?

custom language files

HI,
I want to create a custom language file (french) for Event Tickets by following the steps indicated here .

The problem is at step 1 where it is asked to copy the .mo file and the .po at the following place : Event Tickets: /wp-content/plugins/events-tickets/lang/.

My problem is that I only have .mo file and NOT the po file not only for french but for all the languages there is no .po files ??

Hi, there are areas within WooCommerce that I need to change the wording:
1) in the checkout screen I want to change the wording that says:
“Have a coupon? Click here to enter your code”
2) I also want to change the wording that says:
“Returning customer? Click here to login”
3) How do I change the Opt In question:
“I would like to receive exclusive emails with discounts and product information (optional)
4) When resetting a password I want to change the wording that says: “A password reset email has been sent to the email address on file for your account …”
It’s really not obvious where to change all these things?

Change wording from “Tax” to something else

Is there a way to change just the world “TAX” in the woodcommmerce tax plugin to include the words “AND FEES” on checkout and in the invoices?

Since from what I understand I can’t collect VAT without registering, but I can implement it into the cost of goods shipped to those areas – the easiest way for me to do this would be to just use the tax calculator and change the programming to instead say “FEES” “INTERNATIONAL FEES” or “TAX AND FEES*” since I can legally charge fees how ever I feel fit so long as they agree to them. I don’t want the checkout or invoice to just say TAX or VAT for legality like it currently does. Once I’ve reached the 85k threshold I’ll apply for it.

Doing this because I’m using a drop shipper and they are charging me the VAT and GST to ship products to EU & AUS – I don’t want to universally raise prices, so I’m forced to eat them making things unprofitable. At the same time I don’t want to not offer these products in these locations. Doing it this ways seems like an easy Fix-all for the time being short of spending money other plugins.

Suggestions?

Change 'upcoming events' text and text size

I have a client that would like to change the wording on The Events Calendar and he wants to change some text size.

Instead of saying ‘upcoming events’, he wants other wording. He would also like the text that says ‘View all events’ to be larger.

I’ve found some posts regarding changing the font/text size, but none that seem applicable to my situation.

I do not have access to uploading or accessing files other than what I can get to in the WordPress admin area.
