I have the Marianne theme. It apparently allows me to remove and set a thumbnail, but it just randomly chooses a photo from within the post (often the first photo in the post, but not always) and will not let me change it. I go through the steps to remove, select, and set a new image, but to no end. Help!

Hi there!

I’ve been doing some changes in the Amadeus theme, but now I have an issue I couldn’t find any help with.

I want to get rid of the effect when the mouse cursor passes the thumbnail image.

Can you see that blue rectangle with the little paper plane?

I wanted to get rid of it and just use a simple effect or make the thumbnails clickable.

i have gone through and edited a few photos thumbnail settings through Media > select photo > edit etc… but those edits seem to be ineffective when using this plugin? is there any way to fix this problem?

Hi there, first of all i want to thank you guys for this great plug-in. The thing is, i get ‘ugly’ thumbnails because the pictures aren’t chosen well. Is it possible to get another one, or to set the default thumb?

How to change the thumbnail in recent posts.

Hi guys.
I am using Avenue wp theme. I set it up as a blog. Avenue theme – homepage settings – traditional blog.
Now I have recent posts with thumbnails going down which is great . The problem is that the thumbnails are rectangles and many of my images are squareS . I know I can resize but the images can only look good when they are squares. So even when they fit into rectangle, they become all stretched out and ugly. Here is a sample website https://screencast.com/t/dMBgKW5MSTGV (i have a similar setup)notice how its all one shape besides the chess board , since its square. So ideally I need the same . but at least I want to know the way how to change these thumbnails permanently to the square shape .Thank you in advance

I don’t know how to write code, I just have a simple wordpress website and blog. So any technical answers wont help. I can cut and paste the occasional code if I know where to put it. I am a total non geek.

When I post my blog posts on Facebook one of two ads from my widget area shows up as thumbnail choices. I have nice photos on my blog posts.

I plugged in a few plug in suggested here, but nothing happened.

HELP!
