Is it possible to write css that will allow me to have different site title tags or maybe logo images on different pages?

I did find css code to change header image on 1 page by it’s page id (xxxx) but I need to make this change for a range of pages that are not sequentially in order.
.page-id-xxxx #header { background: url(“imageurl”) no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; }
I’m not familiar with css much so I’m not sure if my need is possible or if I need to use php in the functions.php file.

I’d also like to really focus more on an element ID that needs to be changed per page.

I went to [Settings] -> [General] to change Site Title, but the Site Title on the browser tab is not changing.
I’m using Pinnacle Version 1.2.7.

I hope there is a way to change it.

Hi,

Well I’m back with another beginner question. I’ve googled about every possible way to put it but can’t find a clear answer, well other than just using the GUI to edit.

How do I change the Site Title?
How do I edit the text of the site displayed in the HTML?
Though I cannot find the HTML file for this twentythirteen theme in the directory.

Or do I have to use the Customizing>Site Identity GUI?

What I’ve come to understand from what I’ve read is that you can’t change the text such as h1.site-title in the style.css, only the style of the text, position, looks ect.

Should I just use the GUI provided via WordPress?(Note I am noob)

I have changed my site title but it still shows the default “Enigma.” Is there something else I need to do apart from changing the settings under the “Appearance”

I’m using the Child theme AgentPress2 which has a simple built in editing section to change my site title. I have noticed that competitor websites (real estate) have managed to add some very specific key text that become the purple google links and aren’t necessarily the name of their websites. When you google my url, the site name shows only as my name. How can I edit this to chose some specific (relevant) keywords but not change the homepage site name?

Hey guys I just have a quick question… First off I should let you know that I am using the theme: Customizr. I need to know how to change the site title and description to a custom logo. I know that if I just get rid of the site title and desc altogether, then search engines will not be able to find my website. What I want to do is just put in a piece of coding that replaces the site title and desc with a jpeg… Is there anyway to do this? Any help will be appreciated
