Set a different admin notification email

Would be great if there were a setting on the email settings tab to enter a different email address for all the admin notifications. I’m sure that a lot of sites don’t want all the member notices going to the primary site admin, but rather to a membership manager for example. Until that setting is added, what’s the simplest way to achieve this? Thanks!

I recently started helping with this website. Fortunately I backed up the site right before updating the plugins. After the plugins updated I got this critical error message that said to check the admin email inbox for instructions. The problem is, I don’t have that email address and the owner of the website I am working for doesn’t know what that email would be. Further more I have seen that I can reset the email with php, but I don’t have the information to connect. I only have the admin login credentials.

Are there any good options for me?

Can’t Change Admin Email

The link is password protected, so it probably won’t work. I need to change my admin email and WordPress isn’t making the change. I’m cancelling the old email address so I’ll probably have to create another www.remarpro.com account as there are older posts with the same problem and it wasn’t resolved for them either.

I don’t receive the email which should confirm my request to change the new admin email address in the General Settings tab.

I tried to change the admin email in my Settings/General. The message appeared saying that a confirmation email was being sent to my new address. However, that has not happened. I tried to change the admin email in the database wp-options table, and while the record in the database changed, the email shown in Settings/General did not. Also, the link to cancel the change does not work.

Any assistance with either or both of these would be very welcome. Thanks in advance!

Changing WordPress Admin email address

Somehow my site admin email address got set to an invalid email. Now I need to change to the admin email address to my own, however, when I do this I get a confirmation link via email that sends me to a 404 on my site.

Is there a way to edit this in the MySQL database without confirmation? Why wouldn’t the confirmation email link work?
