centring gallery widget in sidebar

I want to centre some widgets in the sidebar, most importantly a gallery widget, but all of it would be great if possible. From reading other topics about centring images in the sidebar I know I need to add the custom CSS text-align: center but am not sure about the description that comes before it for each of my widgets. Please let me know if you can help, thankyou!

The three images in the link below are separate photos with three different links. How can I center them? When I click the block they’re set in, it doesn’t have the option to align the whole block; just each image (which I have set to particular alignments to get them in the correct order in a horizontal line).

Vertically and Horizontally Align images within the Circular Thumbnail

I’m trying to centralise the Image within the Circular Thumbnails. I’m going to shrink the image to 50% and would like it to appear both vertically and horizontally aligned within that circle.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Well apart from not knowing how to apply the vertical-align: middle element to the image within the thumbnail div

Can't center-align an image in a column

In the third column, the photo at the bottom is supposed to be centered. I can’t get this to happen with CSS. Please tell me how to center an image in a column (the Center button works fine for text within column shortcodes, but not for images).

i’m using a rather old theme that i’ve continuously hacked with each major wordpress update. generally it displays fine in all browsers with the exception of my images not being centered (and an unrelated problem with my comments css)

as such, i can’t get images that i upload through the WP image uploader with the option “center” selected (i.e. with the class=”aligncenter”) to show up centered in either safari or chrome (i.e. webkit browsers).

i’ve tried numerous CSS hacks, looking at firebug, and scouring the ‘net to find a solution with no luck. i’m guessing some of my other CSS or code is getting in the way, but I don’t have enough experience to figure out what is happening.

any and all help would be greatly appreciated. please let me know if i need to post any other code/css for better assistance.
