Basically, every image on this page is an Elementor team block. I’ve been completely overhauling this site over the last few days and everything seemed to be great until a few minutes ago when I just opened that page in a normal window on my laptop. For some odd reason, the treasurer image is just cycling cat photos every refresh.

In the editor it looks as normal, I’ve swapped out the block, replaced the photo, cleared my browser cache, and still cat photos. I don’t even recognise the cats so I have no idea where the photos are coming from.

The only good thing is, it seems to be only my laptop this is happening on. My phone and the other laptop I checked seem normal. It’s just really odd and I have no idea what I should do about it.

I want to change them back to what they were, and I have a list of the original IDs, but I don’t have a back up I can restore to, so I will need to edit something, somewhere, I’d guess.

I have external scripts that interact with my site using the original category IDs, so it is important I get them back to what they were.

I’m hoping there is a fairly simple solution…

I traced the problem to a function called ad_mag_lite_top_headline() which has a few curious things going on. For example, $arr_cat is set as an array with an item in it. After an if that will always return true, it is cast as an array into $cats just before an if where the test is $cats not empty.

To hack a fix I commented out the if and the if not empty code so that it ran as if the if had returned false. This gave me the most recent posts on my theme.

At a guess, I assume that I should be able to select the category for “breaking news” but I could not find any option that would allow me to do that.

All things works but when I using any of posts-listing widgets, after selecting category/categories and/or tag/tags and saving the widget, cats & tags change to — None — !
In fact, all widgets only worked with — None — !

Any ideas?

It’s one of those Tabs things on the NTV.ca site. It was working fine. It was showing a screenshot of the video in the post (the post format is Video (as oppose to Standard).

But now it’s showing the link to the video and not the image, I’ve checked the featured image – it’s still there .. and the video is fine.

What can I do?

If www.remarpro.com can add snowflakes, cats shouldn’t be too hard. ;- )

Shortcode options cat and cats are not working. Everything else is – can you help? A list of all events is shown instead. I disabled all my plugins, double checked my quotes etc and can’t find the problem.

I’m using the Bridge theme from Qode.

Unfortunately it’s in German but under h3 AKTUELLE TERMINE (black background) is a list of workshops and coachings. I’m calling for cat=’coaching’ and only one event should show.
