ImagesTransfer and Draft Status…

Thank for this really nice plugin – but i have problem transferring all articles from my Joomla site to my new wordpress site. When i want to transfer with images it stops transferring after 12 Categories.

I get the following message:

[fgj2wp] 12 Kategorien importiert

If i deactivate the image transfer 13 Categories and 215 Posts are transferred.

SafeMode is turned off and the exceution time and the memory are set to a high level.

An now my second problem is that many of the transferred posts are marked with the draft status. But i selected to import archived posts as published posts. When i publish this posts in WordPress the wrong date and time is selected (now) and so the order of the posts is not right.

Many thanks for giving me instructions to solve this problem.

Can You Separate Blog Posts That Are Categorized and Not Categorized

Is there any way to hide posts that are in a category so that they only appear when you click on the category itself? In other words, I would like the posts that are not in a category to appear on my blog page. Someone would only see the posts in a category if they clicked on that particular category. I was thinking this would be a good way to organize various posts so they wouldn’t all just be thrown together on the blog page.

I get an Error 404 page when I click on any of the pages/categories on my site

Not actually sure which version I’m running as I couldn’t easily find it on my dashboard but basically my problem is this:

For over 10 days now although my main website opens: www.92circles.com
Any of my categories and pages : Photography/Videos/About take me to an Error 404 page. When I try to preview the pages and posts via the dashboard I am also brought to this Error page.

I have no idea what to do or whether htis is a WordPress problem or a hosting problem but “d really appreicate someone helping me with it.

I tried defaulting the permalinks but this did not solve the problem

missing categories

I just changed my wp theme and I am happy with the new theme. The other theme was too narrow and my images and widgets were being cut off.

Now, though, none of my categories are visible on the site. I did look thru the earlier posts on this subject for instructions on how to resolve this.. But being such a newbie, I did not know how to implement any suggestions.

The categories have been created and are seen in my dashboard, but not on the site. The raw theme itself does show categories prior to downloading and installing.

I do know how to get into the sidebar to edit if I am given exact instructions.

categories in wordpress don’t link to posts

I assigned categories to my posts, but when I click on any of them from the category listings they just link me to a blank page instead of the posts.
Anyone know what’s wrong?
