How to Move Existing Media Library Files into a New Folder

This seems like it should be the easiest of things to do, and maybe it is incredibly obvious. Your documentation does a good job of explaining how to SELECT/UPLOAD new items to add to FileBird folders.

But what about items that are already in the Media Library? Is there a way to select and move them into a folder?

I have tried using the “Bulk Select” button and can select a couple images and drag them to a folder. Then I see a “Loading” animation for a second… but then nothing. And when I click on the target folder, it shows “No media items found.”

Please, can you explain how to make this work? (Asking for a client.)

Multiple Group Pages/Directories

Hello,
I have been trying to find solution to this but to no avail.
I have website with Group page – let’s call it “A list”. If people are logged in, then on this page (or section if you will) they can create group according to their need and invite friends to join.
What I would like to do, is create similar page l et’s call it “Z list” where also registered people can create groups. But, if group is created in section/page “A list” this group will not be shown on page/section “Z list” and other way around. Basically it would be 2 different directories = kinda like categorizing.
I am using Buddypress as well as custom theme. I’ve seen someone post same question on Buddypress support forum, but nobody answered, so I thought give it a try here.

Unable to make news posts appear on news page

Apologies for the partial cross-post. I am in need of help for a non-profit. All help is appreciated.

Problem: Cannot make new posts show up on a page as an actual post… just as a link to a post that you have to click to view. I want ONE page to be the place where the NPO staff can type in new info and click publish – should be easy!

I created a page “News & Events” that shows up nicely in the nav bar at the top of each page. Perfect. But I have tried creating a post and added the category news & events – it doesn’t show up on the page. I tried everything I can see as “obvious” on the dashboard screen when writing the post but nothing. I tried creating it as a new page that would then be nested under news and events. That made sure it wasn’t in the navbar but it meant there wasn’t a visible link to it anywhere. I went back and deleted the subpage and stuck with it as a post, which is what I wanted anyway… I went into the widget section and the option for posts are to list the most recent but all it does is make a small box on the news and events page (and all subpages in the site) with the post titles as links.

What I want to do is have the end-user be able to log into the site, create a new post and be able to say it belongs to news and events and at that point it becomes the latest incarnation of that page, with all the previous posts flowing down underneath so one just has to scroll down OR with arrows/links at the bottom that allow people to move on through all the previous posts.

I don’t know if I am just hampered because the theme goes about things in a specific way so that what I want isn’t obvious to do or if it’s just because I don’t follow how to do certain things on wordpress yet. I see the post format section looks hopeful but I’ve tried them all and nothing looks different.

Oh… I DO understand HTML5, XHTML and CSS design so I was able to make some things work by finding the right attributes, etc., in the style sheets. But I do NOT know php and nothing I’ve tried there has worked well … at all.

I am hoping this isn’t a hardwired theme issue but it might be. The staff love the rest of the site but we all want the news/events page to show the posts ON the page and not just as links to posts.

I am having an issue when making posts. I tried using several themes to see if that is whats causing the problem i.ex. the themes “X” and “Pitch”, but it doesnt matter what theme i use, the issue still exsist.

On my webpage I want to have another page that shows my posts, not on the main page. I have 2 membership levels 1.Free 2.Premium, in my post section I also have made categories named “free” and “premium”, and in the membership level-tab i have checked off on these categories at the bottom so they link to eachother.
However, when i post something that is “premium” content or “free” (doesnt matter which one) when i go on this page that i want to have all my posting to appear, nothing shows up.. if i make an UNcategorized post,it shows up on this page just fine. Its just at the moment i press the category button the post wont show up, but if i press the “view” button inside editor tab they redirect me to the https://www.mydomain.com/premium-post/, and there i can see what you are supposed to see : the excerpt and the button saying “you have to register to view this content”

I’ve tried looking into the settings – readings and changing my front page and post page, but with no luck. i dont think thats the problem either because why are ungategorized post turning up just fine ?

Cannot Organize vehicles from the cars-for-sale page

As the title says, on my “vehicles” page, only 9 vehicles show up (i’d love for all of my inventory to show on one page). On top of that I cannot get anything to come up on this page that would allow a customer to categorize my inventory (via make, model, type, or drivetrain). I did get it so if you click on one of the nine vehicles showing, it will bring up that specific vehicle and it’s details, on the side bar it THEN shows ways to search through all of my inventory. I want that to be accessible from my cars-for-sale page. I would love a response on how to make this possible. Thank you.

Displaying Products by categories with individual page

I don’t know if this is possible at the moment or if there is a tweak I can use in order to achieve what I want.

I have different categories of my products.

I created pages for every categories(in wordpress).

I would like to display only the products categories in the pages that I’ve created.

i.e.

Page > Household will display only the product I’ve entered in WP Online store under Household category too.

It surprises me that the “?cat=x” doesn’t list the custom posts from the x category… How to fix that?

Remove date sorting on a page-to-page basis

Hi. I’ve set up date-based sorting for my loop. Posts get sorted under labels of “Today”, “Yesterday” or “_date_” immediately after posting. The labels only appear once for each date and all posts made on that date fall under the label. The problem is, every time a page becomes full and the newly opened page has posts from a date that started on the last page, the label gets displayed again. Would it be possible to edit the code in such a way, that the label wouldn’t be shown when opening a new page? For example: Page 1 ends with February, 2nd posts. 3 posts appear on page 1, 3 posts appear on page 2. Currently, February 2 would be shown on both, page 1 and page 2. The goal is to have it displayed only on page 1.

I’ve set up an infinite scroll script for page switching with an item selector of label+post, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. Labels get displayed after every load as they would when switching pages.

I would be really thankful if anyone could help.
