Capture of abandoned carts [ Triggers even after the purchase is completed ]

Hello! Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on the excellent tool you provide us.

At the moment I’m having an inconsistency problem with abandoned carts. I use a webhook to receive identified abandoned cart data and then trigger it via WhatsApp. However, an abandoned cart is being identified whenever a customer completes a purchase. This doesn’t seem as expected.

In the settings, I set the time limit to 300 minutes (5 hours) for a cart to be identified as abandoned. Still, I am facing this problem.

What could be causing it and why does it happen?

Abandoned carts list product price mismatch with actual price -Follow-up email

I’m using the Follow-up email but I see there is an issue with the price table. The follow-up email price is not the same price as the actual product price. I see all products showing the price table are the same price which is not the actual price of the products. Here is my Follow-up email template price table- https://prnt.sc/BVDPpMIRcVcA

I used the Shortcode to show the abandoned product price- {{cart.product.table}}

I really appreciate to help in solving it. I’ve tried and checked both my production and staging sites both have the same issue.

Cart Abandonment Event

Hi,

Looking to track cart abandonment events using Google Tag Manager, but could not identify the actual event triggered when a cart is abandoned using this plugin.

Are you able advise of the events fired as would like to also track others around this also.

Happy with creating all the event tracking etc. just not been able to identify the events on this occasion.

Customers section empty at backend

Hi All,

I’m very new to website creation and infact this is the first website i’m creating for my ecom shop. I’m facing two issues that I require help/info on. Please note, i’m not that big of a coder and have used all features that come up part of woocommerce and other plugin.

Prologue: So, I wanted to capture few more details when a user registers and hence did not want to use the native register page by woocommerce, hence used a plugin called ultimate member to design a new page. Now, user creation from UI is working fine and a new customer can login to see my shop details post login and run through upto checkout. But below are the two issues i’m facing.

Issues: 1) I can see the registered users under the Ultimate Member section in my backend but i’m not able to see the same users under the “Customers” section in woocommerce – even my admin login is not showing up as customer though it’s showing in the later – am I missing something here? does it not sync automatically?
2) To test cart abandonment I tested 2 scenarios a) admin abandons cart after adding a product (this is showing up under the cart abandonment section) b) I created a dummy user to test the same flow, but this is not showing up in the abandon section like the latter.

Help in this will be really appreciated, again i’m very new at this so any help will be really appreciated. Please do let me know if any additional info is required or not

This is a great plugin and I appreciate it’s still in its early stages, but as an alternative to sending WordPress Follow-Up Abandoned Cart emails, are you planning to add API integration, for sending the data to MailerLite etc. for adding to an automation sequence?

Or, is it possible to use a web hook (which I see there is an option for) to send the data via Zapier (for example) to MailerLite, MailChimp, etc.?

The above solutions would also avoid possible issues with sending marketing transactional emails, through WordPress.

Intuitive, functional, and affordable

I was tasked by a client for a popup solution that would cover a large family of websites. Although how the popups were to be used was left out, the family of websites includes a WooCommerce store, an education center, a retreat destination, and plenty of blogs.
Shopping around I new the base needs weer:
– one affordable license that covered at least ten websites.
– exit intent capability
– WooCommerce integration
– MailChimp integration
– ability to load more than one popup, but have visitor action determine which popup would load.
– Minimal need to use custom coding for design

It didn’t take long to land on Popup Maker because it met all the basic needs and some. My client bought the bundle and I have been using it now a week. It is pretty easy to customize popups in all sorts of non-annoying w(and if you are so inclined, annoying ways). Well maybe I let the exit intent ones be annoying…

In any case, support has been fantastic and apparently there is even more support coming for WooCommerce! I have to admit that the Subscription features have caused me to update how my client handles Subscribers. Since we are deploying this over ten websites, I noted we can funnel Subscribers from certain websites to certain groups instead of the client maintaining multiple lists.

Awesome plugin on the pro level. Keep it up!

One suggestion though, if you are going to be focusing on a WooCommerce or ECommerce site, check out Ahoy by the same developer.
