I seem to be having some issues with the WordPress admin panel, at first the tags and categories disappeared and then when I tried to add/edit a post/page there is no field to write in but a text that says (excuse the poor translation): “you are now editing the page that shows your latest posts”.
Also, any changes I tried to do didn’t take effect. For example I tried to change the theme (when troubleshooting) and deactivate plugins but it didn’t work.
Plus now I can’t login, I enter my login details, the page loads and then asks if I’m a human so I add the number but still can’t login.
I’m using 4.5.2 in Swedish. Any help is appreciated!
Edit: My blog is https://jennyelisabeth.se, if needed.
]]>This is when i worked out what was wrong! When logging onto the control panel where my domain was hosted, and clicking on phpmyadmin to make a backup of my database, i noticed that my database size was quite large. I then called up my host and asked if and what my limit was on my database. This was as i thought, smaller than my current database size. I then upped my database limit and waited a day for this to take effect and hey presto everything is working again.
So before you spend hours and days trying to work out what’s wrong check your database limit.
I’ve just put this up because i couldn’t find anyone else who had this solution and thought it might help someone!
Thanks
]]>So I assumed this had something to do with permissions or an incorrect value in the database. As I read up on it it may have something to do with AUTO_INCREMENT. Anyway so I compared the two views of PhpMyAdmin. One from my staging server where it worked fine and the other from my host server and I found that there is a table row missing.. Row number 14 is missing in my WP-USERMETA database table.
Does anyone know if this is the problem or am I getting to detailed and there is a more simple fix…
Please HELP!!! Anyone!!!
]]>Also, there haven’t been any updates.
Just don’t know what to do.
]]>I am trying to login to our account but as soon as I login I get a page comiong up with this text:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONST, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /data01/csenet/public_html/wp-content/plugins/statpress-visitors/admin/pages/luc_statistics.php on line 125
And I am not able to do anything? Have I broken my accoutn? How do I resolve this issue?
Our Blog is still live but there is no way I can do any editing or add any new posts.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,

I am a complete newbie at wordpress and would really appreciate your help. Last night I finally managed to get wordpress doing what I wanted and had about 8 posts, 5 categories and 4 pages published.
Late last night I added a selection of Plugins which I’ll list below.
This morning I logged in and updated a post, after clicking ‘update’ it returned me to the edit/update screen and displayed “0 Posts”. All my pages are gone, all my posts are gone. I’m not too concerned about recovering them as its an extremely young site, but I’d like to know how to get my site running again and how to prevent this from happening in the future. I suspect it may have been the fault of a plugin, they’re listed below.
postMash was activated at the time of the crash/deletion, I deactivated it afterwards hoping it would fix it. It didn’t.
WordPress Database Backup was added this morning after the crash. I have no backup.
Thanks very much for your help everyone, I really don’t know what to do.
