After updating to the latest version 2.3.0, a fatal error is triggering, blocking access to the WordPress admin.
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function enable_custom_property() on bool in /public/wp-content/plugins/plausible-analytics/src/Admin/Provisioning.php:374.
I have deactivated the plugin for now. This is impacting a wide number of client websites.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Best,
Juan
Am I able to access the WordPress files if i don’t have an FTP? Does WP file manager have a way i can look into those without logging into my dashboard?
]]>I am not able to access wp-admin and am not a techy person.
I tried to get assistance from Siteground and they gave this message:
“That being said what should be done is for you to access the remote host DNS zone and update the A record to ——–
Make sure to update the record to ——-
Be advised that authoritative DNS zone is not pointed to us (you are not using our name servers) we cannot change the A record for you. So if you need assistance it will be best to contact your authoritative DNS zone host.”
Is WordPress my authoritative DNS zone host ? I’m confused.
]]>I’m really desperate and I need your help.
1. I’ve restored my page from a backup through the Backup Guard plugin. It must have been badly set, because it only showed part of the content. At that moment I lost my access to the wp-admin.
2. I’ve contacted my host and they restored the database, we put the new data base data into the wp-config. We linked the new files to the page. Then everything went blank.
3. When I try to deactivate all plugins, the page appears but without any files, just code. The wp-admin then gives me this: “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/1/d309401471/htdocs/ProviderRestore/wp-config.php:1) in /homepages/1/d309401471/htdocs/ProviderRestore/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1216”
Several webmasters had a look at wp-config, it looks fine.
4. When I activate the plugins, everything is white again. I tried to deactivate each plugin separately, but it doesn’t work.
Could please somebody help, I’m panicking. You can also send me a private message.
Thank you!
]]>Basically the title says it all. I did something really dumb. I made all WP pages private so nobody can see the wordpress website. I didn’t realize that I won’t be able to access the dashboard through wp-admin after I log out.
Is there an (easy) fix for this?
Thanks for your help in advance!
Cheers
Davi
I have just recently started to create and build my website through WP. I got an Arvixe.com hosting package and used cPanel to download WordPress. During the download process I created a WP account. Somehow I started another account with wordpress that I didn’t know wasn’t connected with the one I created with cPanel. The account I created with cPanel had this domian name for my website: www.pyramidsurf.com/wp. The other account I had created had this domain: www.pyramidsurf.com. The problem was that the cPanel aka www.pyramidsurf.com/wp website had the SSL/https I had signed up for but it had /wp at the end of my domain name. And whenever I entered pyramidsurf.com into my web browser the www.pyramidsurf.com website came up, not the one I created with cPanel. So, when I tried to edit the domain name and take away the /wp from the www.pyramidsurf.com/wp the account disappeared. I’m not joking, it disappeared into thin air. When I tried to use the forgot password it said an account with my email/username didn’t exist and when I searched for the wp-admin account url for the cPanel account it changed into the other account (www.pyramidsurf.com one). Then the other account that I created now had the SSL and everything. However, when I installed and activated a new theme (the Quest theme) (I had already installed a few others), everything went blank. Now nothing is coming up at all. My wp-admin account is blank and the website is blank. Is there anything I can do to recover it? I’ve seen this happen in a few other forums but I also wanted to ask if I could just completely restart and redo my wordpres install with still being able to have my domain (which is still linked to the other account because I can’t even get into it)and SSL. Also, if that account does happen to come online, could I remove my domain from it and start over anyway? Thanks, Obeatty
]]>I have a WP multisite running 3.9 with The7 theme installed. No strange plugins installed. When editing a slider in the Layerslider plugin (which was included in the theme — fully up to date), from time to time when I try to upload a new image or save the slide, the site (uhpapp.beauxapps.com) becomes inaccessible — I can’t access anything (I can’t access the other site on the multisite (beauxapps.com) or the wp-admin area for either site). Firefox (and all other browsers, even via a data connection on my phone), just load forever.
The file sizes aren’t large (not to mention my php.ini file is setup to accept large files).
I’ve disabled all plugins, repaired database tables, changed themes, etc. The first few times it happened, I repaired the tables and that seemed to work. Now nothing is working.
This error pops up (generated by the Layerslider page I think) when I reload the layerslider page I was working in.
It seems there is a server issue that prevented LayerSlider from saving your work. Please, try to temporary disable themes/plugins, or contact with your hosting provider. Your HTTP server thrown the following error:
[Exception… “Failure” nsresult: “0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE)” location: “JS frame :: https://uhpapp.beauxapps.com/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=0&load%5B%5D=jquery-core,jquery-migrate,utils,plupload,json2,farbtastic&ver=3.9 :: .send :: line 4” data: no]
How can I solve this? Any idea why this is happening?
***This is strange too: I just took a look at my wp-config file and it’s blank! It was not blank this morning and I haven’t touched it! I think I have a backup of it. I will upload that and see if it solves the problem, but I’d like to know why it went blank in the first place!
Thanks again!
