I am getting an error message when I try to log in to my WordPress Admin Panel (at sitename.com/wp-admin). This pops up whether I try to access it different ways, on computer or on phone. The issue is not the password.
Here is my error message:
“Warning: Declaration of Sbi\Helpers\PluginSilentUpgrader::download_package($package, $check_signatures = false) should be compatible with WP_Upgrader::download_package($package, $check_signatures = false, $hook_extra = Array) in /home/sarahvdi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/instagram-feed/inc/admin/PluginSilentUpgrader.php on line 24

I would like to fix the problem, which might be a plugin or it says something about an Instagram feed…? However, since I can’t access my Admin Panel, I can’t figure out how to fix the problem. I don’t mind deleting any and all Instagram on my website (I don’t think I even added it, but maybe I forgot…?) I have a WordPress website hosted by Siteground. I do have access to my Cpanel on Siteground, just not my Admin Panel on WordPress.
More information on this issue:
I changed my WordPress password, but that didn’t change anything.
Also through my CPanel I made sure it has the current version of WordPress installed, but that didn’t change anything either.
I cleared my cookies and cache in my Chrome browser, again no effect.
I was trying to Google how to clear my cache on my WordPress website through my cPanel, but I haven’t figured out how to do that yet.
I would like to email or call or live chat with WordPress support of any kind, but that doesn’t seem to be available to me, unless I have a paid version of WordPress…
Also I am able to access WordPress on my phone through the WordPress app, and I am able to edit Posts and Pages, however when I try to click on Admin Panel, it just takes me to the same error message.
I am currently trying to set up an FTP on my Siteground so maybe I can fix this issue, but I haven’t completed that yet.
If anyone could help me with this issue that would be so awesome. Any and all help I would really, really appreciate it so much!
Peacefully,
Sarah
I think I may have missed a step in moving my URL. I have connected my URL, voiceculture.co.nz, to another provider (squarespace). I changed the CNAME and A records to do this. However, I wanted to keep my wordpress site but change the URL name. I think I may have done this in the wrong order.
Can someone please help me with how to access my wp-admin login area of my wordpress site. When I go to it now it says the site isn’t found.
Really hoping someone is able to help me with this as it’s really urgent and important. Thank you all in advance!!
]]>I needed to password protect a few custom dedicated pages, so I changed the visibility of these pages from “Public” to “Password Protected” in the page settings of each page. After changes were saved, I tried accessing the two password protected pages. After typing the passwords on each page, they both went to a 404 Not Found page. I submitted a help ticket to ThemeNectar, thinking it was an issue with the premium Salient Theme I am using.
I was instructed to change the permalinks from “Post Name” to “Default” and save the changes. In the next step I was supposed to change the permalink structure back to “Post Name” and save changes. This was supposed to fix my password problem. However, after I made the original change and saved the changes, my browser froze up. I refreshed the browser and haven’t been able to access my Admin Panel.
The website itself still works, somewhat, but when I type sharplink.co/wp-admin I get a NOT FOUND error. I also get the same message when selecting different web pages, but not all.
What do I need to do to fix this? I need access to my Admin Panel and I would like the ermalinks changed back to “Post Name”.
Thanks,
Bobby
I started by going in the wordpress general settings and changing the site url and address like I was instructed to do. I then requested godaddy point our domain to the new site, and lost the styling, function, and can’t access wp admin either. Please help!
I did add this code to the wp-config.php:
define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://mottschannelseafood.com’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://mottschannelseafood.com’);
and this code functions.php:
(update_option(‘siteurl’,’https://mottschannelseafood.com’);
update_option(‘home’,’https://mottschannelseafood.com’);)
Also changed database wp_options/siteurl and home to https://mottschannelseafood.com.
When first adding this code, I did make the mistake of forgetting to change the web address from example.com to my site, but I fixed it. When I do an inspect element via chrome it shows a bunch of links with “example.com.”
Can someone please help me? Is there any other way to log into my wordpress admin? thanks so much!!!
]]>I guess this is a classic beginner fail… I recently changed my URL/Domain name of my website, and now the website appears blank (i know that the data aint lost) and I can’t access the /wp-admin either.
Trying to fix this problem, I searched on Google and here on the forums, and the solution that seemed to work for everyone, was to go into PHP My Admin and change the “site URL” and the “home” (I believe it’s called) to the new URL.
This didn’t make any change for me though, still just plain white website, and when i try to access /wp-admin I get this error:
“Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin was not found on this server.
Apache Server at vaegur.dk Port 80″
Can anyone help me? Do you need to know more? Or..?

]]>I am able to login to my website fine but when I click on Admin panel it takes me to a blank page. I can’t access any other page either on the back end of the site.
I’ve checked the Wp-admin folder has 755 permisions and the content folder too.
I was able to access it last night when I updated several plugins including Yoost and Akinsmet.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to resolve this or what might have caused it?
My site is hosted by 1and1.co.uk.

]]>I deleted the cache from today in the FTP file and my computer. Nothing has worked. I did talk to network solutions tech support but the system was down for maintenance and they couldn’t really help me.
I think If I could reset the urls in the general>settings section I would be back in business.
Is there a workaround to make this happen? Thank you so much for your time and help in this matter! I greatly appreciate this! Cheers!
]]>www.paulspacey.com/wp-admin just sends me to a not-found page. It was working before I upgraded to the latest version of WP today.
Any ideas?
]]>First I just updated to the wordpress 3.5.1 earlier today and it seemed fine. Then later on I was updating some info on my website and I got stuck somewhere so I shut down the internet connection without fully logging out now I can’t access my admin panel it keeps giving me this error message when I enter my user name and password. I think I was in the area where you update your title tags- I entered some info but decided not to make any changes and somehow now I can’t getback in my admin panel. I am not a person that understands a lot of website speak so please help me using the most desriptive simple terms possible. Thanks in advance.
