I performed a Google search and based on suggestions through that search, I have tried the following:
Uploading a different image.
Uploading a smaller image.
Upgrading my php to 7.0 (the highest version currently available with my host)
Ensuring my php memory limit is at least 250MB (it is set to 256)
Ensuring upload limit is set to 30MB or higher (it is set to 64)
Deactivating all plugins but NextGen Gallery and trying again (didn’t work)
Replacing my theme with Twenty Seventeen and trying again (didn’t work)
Checking file permissions of wp-content folder (set to 755)
My permalinks are already set to post name
All that and I am still not able to successfully upload to a gallery and have the gallery load. Could it really be just the difference between PHP 7.0 and 7.2?!?!?!
]]>I have a website that all of a sudden I’m not be able to upload media to properly, whilst nothing has been added or changed from our side. See screenshot below:
The media looks like it is uploaded but the thumbnail doesn’t display and if I go to the direct link it states ‘The page could not be found’
Does anyone have any experience or any advice in regards to fixing this issue?
Many thanks
]]>This options does not exist in the ultimate member dashboard. Because of this, my contributors cannot upload files. Please let me know if this feature is hidden or if this is something on your end that needs to be sorted out?
]]>The website displays properly on the internet, however pages cannot be edited.
I logged on to wp-admin to edit a page and found all pages listed in the pages list but when opened to edit them were empty of all text/media content and formatting except for the page title. Also, most media library content does show on the media library index page.
Past page revisions do not restore. New image content cannot be uploaded.
A check of the files in the file manager of the host ISP’s cPanel shows that the media image files are still there. I’m not sure whether the page text and formatting is still there. Database backups reflect what is seen in the dashboard (content is gone) so cannot be used.
An attempt to update one of the pages to see if it would reset the page’s content and formatting caused the page to go blank (no content/formatting) when viewed in a browser. (https://johnnyschoice.com/?page_id=188)
It is as though the dashboard UI cannot find the content or media databases, but the databases are found when there is an internet request to display the website.
I hope someone can help. Thank you.

]]>I’ve already switched to default 2015 theme, turned off all plugins, cleared my cache and tried different browsers.
I’ve already gone in and changed the permissions on wp-content and uploads to 755 and 777 and neither did anything.
It just keeps saying “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” no matter what I do. Even making a tiny custom test image with example.jpg doesn’t work.
Why does wordpress have to make image uploads so crazy difficult sometimes?
]]>I am managing a couple of WordPress sites, I haven’t really had problems til now, I have a couple of problems and I hope you guys can help
1. For the website: lbo-deals.com
some of the images does not show on the page, some show a broken picture icon and the header is blank and in the media gallery, the picture that I uploaded shows only a broken pic icon too. I inspected the header and checked the file in cpanel and it is there. I don’t know why it suddenly disappeared, I haven’t really made changes except for the 4.01 update. I tried looking up for known issues and I cant seem find anything similar.
What steps should I take?
2 For the websites: wealthdownloads.com and rockwellmarsh.com
My problem is that when I upload media/images it gets an error or gets stuck crunching, and when I open the media library it just shows a loading icon but does not actually load.
I’ve read several issues like mine, so far the steps I’ve taken was:
change the permissions for wp-content in both filezilla and cpanel, reinstalled the 4.01 update, updated all of my plug-ins, I can upload pictures fine in cpanel but I cant use the wordpress media library.
Also for rockwellmarsh.com, there is a small 404 error on the upperleft part of the site.
I have a hunch that the error really started in my webhost cpanel, but I cant seem to pinpoint it and I really need help
I hope somebody can help. Thanks in advanced
Can you please help me?
Thank you
