Hi, I created a cron event with a cron schedule every 20 minutes. This cron should fire email notification, but it doesn’t work.

So I want do delete this cron event. I see two of them. One of them I can delete, but after refresch the page, this appears again. The other duplicate nothing happend. Even if I want do edit the cron to run it all 15 minutes, it doesn’t take this changes.

Everything is on the latest version.

What’s going on?

Can you help me?

I created a back to top button using an icon, but it wasn’t what I wanted and decided to use WPFront Scroll Top plugin, which works much better. I deleted my arrow icon because I didn’t need it anymore but it’s still showing on my page and I cannot see it in Elementor. (So now I have 2 back to top buttons) and I don’t know how to remove the one I don’t want (the purple one) because I cannot see it in Elementor.

BTW I do not have direct access to the .ftp so if at all possible someone has some suggestions on how to fix this that does not require me access to ftp, that would be great.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Fake Theme (light Porn) embedded somehow on Self-Hosted site

Thought I could upload a screenshot here so you could see it, but there is no capability for an upload (that I can see).

Posting here because I cannot DELETE the Fake Theme entitled: WILES (light porn)

A message pops up that says: This theme cannot be deleted because it doesn’t exist.

Please help me delete this Fake Theme as it is probably a backdoor for hackers!

It shows up on my Dash, under Appearance, then under Themes

Cannot Delete GMedia

I have an issue deleting (not deactivating) Gmedia 1.14.0 – was building site on WAMP 3.1.0 and could not delete (see error below). To check if there were any conflicts – I created a new virtual host & did a clean install of WordPress (Fresh database) – no plugins (Akismet – deactivated) running, only GMedia – did nothing but install & activate… waited a minutes & deactivated (worked normally), but again when I deleted, the plugin froze & a PLUGIN NOTICE appeared at the top of page (see below):
Can anyone help with this issue – I am still unable to delete without deleting the folder on the server – not knowing what is left on the database – what the issue is?

Cannot Delete WF folders via FTP to Start Fresh Install

I’ve just noticed that Wordfence on my site is not running and I have no idea why. It is not listed in my plugins, though upon install attempt, I’m told that folder already exists.

Tried deleting folder via FTP to start anew and all is erased except lib and tmp folders and those prove to be unerasable, even with write-all permissions.

Noticed this after update to WordPress 4.6 resulted in inability to login to wp-admin, had to to manually reinstall WP 4.5.3.

Ran Wordfence assistant and had it clear out every choice listed, still unable to install Wordfence. Looked at database but only see Blocked IP’s, which were blank (so assistant worked)

Invisible widget trashes index

Hello,
After adding a very simple tracking code to the shop (java stuff) the front of the site showed no contents anymore. Just the menu and search, thats it.

What i did was go to customizer, added a widget called text & html and used position “home bottom” and added the code…and didnt gave it any title as it didnt supposed to show any.
But after saving obviously that didnt go well as the contents was gone…..conflict ? probably…

But thing is, i cannot delete the widget cause it doesnt show, or have a title…
I didnt realized that there were better places to put the code…

So big question is, how do i delete or remove a widget i cannot see ?

We have just start trialling the free version Minimax on our website.
We have successfully built one page with it:

However, when we try to build subsequent pages, the plugin breaks the page and does not allow data to be shown. Further if we go back into the editor, we can delete the row, but when we hit update the row reappears. Such as here:

We are using WP 4.4.2, and theme MH Corporate.

Will not update – can not remove earlier version

I have been experiencing problems with the forms not submitting on one site and when I noticed an update was available I attempted to update it. It said that the update failed – older version could not be removed.

Next I deactivated the plugin and attempted to delete it so I could download a fresh version. It asked for permission to delete all the files and I clicked yes. It appeared to go through the delete process but it did not delete.

I have updated other plugins today on that site without issue.

I would live to know what is going on with this.
