Wrong currency charged error

Someone with a Canadian billing address and Canadian credit card was somehow charged in USD.

In settings, if the billing address is Canadian, the customer is charged in CAD. If the billing address is anywhere else, the customer is charged in USD.

We contacted Stripe and they said the issue is with Woocommerce (in the activity window on Stripe, the data clearly indicated “CA” as the country but currency is “USD”). Can someone please explain how this happened? There have been many orders from Canada and the USA and this is the only time the currency was charged incorrectly.

Hello!
I live in Canada and have to collect Canadian taxes. However, I prefer to list my prices in USD because that’s where the majority of my customers come from.

However, if I charge USD prices, because the CAD dollar and the USD dollar are not equal, the taxes calculated by WooCommerce are going to be off. Is there some way, within Woocommerce, to have it so that customers are actually paying taxes only on CAD amounts and not USD amounts?

Is there any way to alter/change the associated currency sign with a country?
For example one of my clients would like to have CAD displayed instead of $ for Canada.
Is this possible?

CAD Canadian Dollar is missing…(the 6th most used currency in the world…)
Also can you please modify the plugin in order to update currency ratings conversion on page refresh?

No Currency Option?

When I created a button to test, there was no currency option. Upon testing, was presented an error that it attempts too charge USD which doesn’t work with a Canadian Square account. According to your documentation, there should be an option to change currency, yet no such field exists in the plugin when I install it. (most recent version, most recent WP – tried two different browsers just in case)

A well developed and easy to use plugin. However, there is no Canadian Dollar (CAD) in Currency List. I wonder how to add CAD into the list. Or if there is an updated version coming soon.
