You can clear your cache at the server level, but it also can make a difference to clear the cache within the site itself, if that makes sense? I haven’t had any functioning issues with this plugin.

Cache files are deleted when the woocommerce session is open

I have a problem with a website that uses Woocommerce and WP Fastest Cache. I allow logged in users to use cache by disallowing cache for specific pages and it’s ok, logged in user can browse through cached pages. The problem is that if I put a product in the cart by starting a woocommerce session, the files in the cache are deleted (I checked by connecting to the site via FTP).

Is it working properly? What can I do to fix the problem?

I can not change the settings from wp fastest cache plugin

Goodmorning supporters.

I try many cache plugins , the best plugin about caching , is wp fastest cache.It is really fast.The problem now with wp fastest cache plugin , is that i can not clear the cache files.Maybe is permissions problem.I check the permission to the folder that this plugin cache the files

/wp-content/cache/
/wp-content/cache/all
/wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified

The permission to these folders are set to 755.

Also , if i want to make some changes to the settings of this plugin it seems that does not accept these changes,I don’t know why. If i want to disable some other plugins also wordpress does not execute the command.For example smush plugin for images optimization.

WordPress version 5.9
All plugins are updated to the latest version

Clear cache on interval not working

Hi everyone. I love your plugin, but it is giving me problems with ajax requests. On my website, I noticed that sometimes ajax requests do not work and show error 403(forbidden). When it does that, I can always solve it by manually clearing the Hummingbird cache. Since I am using WordPress nonces, I guessed that this error is due to the expiration of the nonce contained in the cached page, and I set che Clear cache on interval option to 10 hours, while a new nonce should be created every 12 hours and should last for 24 hours by WordPress default. After I did that, ajax requests stopped working again approximately one day later and I solved it again by simply clearing the cache, suggesting that the automated cache clearing did not work.
How can I check if the automated cache clearing is working ?
Do you have any ideas that could help me on this ?

Hi,

do you have an action hook which I can use to implement my own additional cache cleaning when you do yours at every open / close switch?

you state that you only clean client-side cache, so it would be extremely useful if you give us a hook when we can do some more. I really do not want to re-implement all the logic to understand when a open / close switch is happening..

just discovered your plugin from the comments in here and it looks promising.

I wonder which plugin you’d recommend for merging css and js, there is Merge + Minify + Refresh and autoptimize…

Also while trying autoptimize i had to deactivate your cache then setup autoptimize as clearing cache was non effective, then reactivate the cache.

It would be great to have a comment in the generated source to know that cache is active.

Cache clearing all by itself

Hi,

Love the plugin. We were running super cache and ran into problems with loading times on some of our larger pages as the cache seemed to clear by itself from time to time. Am using WPBakery Visual Composer for page building.

The cache builds nicely and then seems to delete with cache enabler from time to time (we have not cleared the cache manually and it is set to “0”).

It means our larger pages take 10 sec or longer to load when the cache is cleared. Would be great to get the cache stable and not resetting without our doing it.

We output to cloudflare which is set to cache everything.

Likely not a cache enabler issue but any ideas would be really appreciated.

Cache not cleared after wp_update_post via php script

Hi Donncha and fellow users,
I’m programmatically updating a page using wp_update_post from a php script. However, the update doesn’t clear the supercache file.
On the other hand, when I make the same update manually via admin panel, the page cache is cleared as expected.
Am I missing something? Any pointers are much appreciated.

Incompatibility with Jetpack 'Related Posts'

Hopefully this will help some others…

Just to say I had a strange issue on a web site that has been using WP Super Cache for many years without issues however no matter what version of WordPress and WP Super Cache I tried cached files were randomly deleted from the cache despite disabling / changing garbage collection times etc.

Long story short, I tracked the issue down to the Jetpack ‘Related Posts’ module and as soon as I disabled that (not sure I actually activated it…) everything is working as normal again.
