Plugin loading issues

When trying to add a new listing, there is a buffering icon where we would normally be able to add an image, and no submit button is displayed. We had never encountered this issue until after updating to PHP 8.1. Is there a known issue with using Directorist with PHP 8.1?. Are there any suggestions regarding a solution to this issue? Hi,
I have issues loading photos on my website.
The buffer logo keeps showing forever. Some days the photos work perfectly but often they dont, its quite random.
I asked someone who knows more about this and apparently the elementor nav menu plugin has a console error which is cousing the problem.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Caching of RSS Headlines Improvement request

Hi,

I’m using Link Library for a while on a small private blog. Due to the fact that initial refresh without caching went slower and slower I checked all plungins until I realized that Link Library is causing the effect likely in combintion with refreshing the RSS headlines. I had a blogroll on the sidebar of the blog which was visible on every page. Which caused a refresh on every page load.

At first I thought that there is maybe an option where I can change when and how often the feeds are refreshed. Maybe I have not found it and there is some.

I have changed the blogroll to a subpage which avoids the refreshes but also hides the blogroll.

If there is really no setting it would be nice to have one. If have found the “Time before clearing RSS display cache (in seconds)” option but this seems to do something else. Otherwise there would not be a 10 seconds refresh on every page but only the first. 7 of 10 seconds seems to be link library related. Only when the page is cached this does not happen.

Proposal:

Standard option: Reresh feeds on pageload, second option refresh feeds on schedule and store the result locally in DB (with the link byself). The lookup in the DB would be much faster than browsing several feeds every time.

Time schedule: e.g. every 15 Minutes, every half an hour, hourly, every 3 hours, one time a day with possibility to set an hour for refresh e.g. 4:00 at night.

In my case I would use refresh once a day at nighttime. That is not the latest version of the rss but the links include other blogs. The content does not refresh so often and I do not want to stress their systems to much.

Would this be an option or is something like this included and I simply did not find it or is their a caching meachnism which is not working in my case?

Output Buffering Issue

I started getting an output buffering conflict on a page that downloads large pdf files. I am getting this php error thrown when I execute a curl session to download the file:

Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers

I have excluded the page having the problem, but that didn’t work.

When I deactivate wp-fastest-cache, the problem goes away. The problem page always fails when the plugin is activated.

Pictures keep buffering

Hi!

Me and my classmates are making a homepage for a university choir and have one problem. we have installed the plugin Flagallery and everything works, except that when you click at one image to enlarge it, it just keep buffering.

We are working from our universitys server, don’t know if that might be the problem? Our server is also having problem with Jetpack, is Flagallery dependent on Jetpack to work?

You can see the problem if you go to ”Om oss” and then ”K?rens medlemmar”

Cannot create button, buffer wheel just spins

I’m trying to create a subscription button but the buffering wheel just spins. It’ll allow me to create a button but it never saves so as soon as I click away it disappears. I’ve searched the forum but can’t find anything similar that might help.

Hi there,
I am getting this error on my server:
[php7:error] [pid 25194] [client 79.213.167.191:49157] PHP Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0, referer:

I am not sure if I need to configure the server/php? I checked the php.ini and output_buffering is set to 4096.

Any ideas what else I can check? Because of this error I get a 500 Internal Server Error and a white page, when I enable the cache enabler.

Thanks for this plugin – it works a treat
Not an issue here – just some information.
I’m using custom post types for my secured content (which will tend to be images for client approval).
I did have some problems at first, as my template created work from outside WP’s $content – which is what the plugin secures.
I got around the problem by using php output buffering on that content (‘ob_start’ etc), and adding a “the content” filter to add it in.
I’m using this plugin with the “Capability Manager Advanced” plugin to manage user roles and access.
