New role for BuddyPress

Hi!

Is it possible to use this plugin to create a new role with the capability of creating and deleting groups BUT with no access to all groups, just the ones the user creates?

I’ve read that BuddyPress uses ‘manage_options’ capability to access groups but if I create a role with this option, the user with that role has access to all the groups, even the ones that the user didn’t create, and I don’t want that.

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask or if the topic has already been asked and addressed, so apologies in advance.

Has there been any discussion on having the ability to use Buddypress Groups for Zoom meetings? In my search I came across a plugin called BuddyMeet that adds a meeting room with video and audio capabilities to BuddyPress and wondered if this has been considered with this plugin.

Any responses appreciated.

How can I import users into buddypress groups?

Hello,
I will try to be as brief and clear as possible.
I have a website where there are 80 buddypress groups and I need to create a csv with more than 150 users where they will be divided into 80 groups.
Currently, I have 3 users and the way I have created the CSV has been by exporting them and filling in the exported CSV.
Users are created, but not added to groups.
Could someone who has done something like this help me?

Members unable to access buddypress groups

Hi,
Facing a problem with BuddyPress plugin(WP 5.2.2 – BuddyPress 4.3.0), on site there are groups and when new members are added to any group (public, private or hidden), newly added members are unable to access group page and are redirected site home page. However old members in groups are able to access group page and perform all functions.

BuddyPress Groups are not listed

first of all, great and simple plugin love it!

I’m currently working on a project where we are integrating Buddypress and need to send emails to the different groups. Saw that this was possible in the Plugin Description but can’t get the WP Email Users to list my BuddyPress Groups. Can you please help me out?

Just wondering if there is a way to list events based on which Buddypress Group created it. I would like the ability to do something like:

[events_list buddypress group=”my group name”]

Is that possible? Thank you.
