1. UPS real time shipping rates are exclusive of VAT. If you want to display the rates including VAT, please add the VAT % to the shipping rate. E.g. If VAT is 23%, and you want to display rates including VAT, you should insert 123% above
So I added shipping zones, and on the UPS shipping method I applied a tax class “Standard” and left the UPS real time shipping rates at 100%
In the “Standard” tax rates I enabled to apply this tax rate to “Shipping”, this does not increase the shipping rate cost from UPS real time shipping rates with the tax % that has been set. But it also does not update the tax amount on the checkout page, there you will only see the tax for the goods, excluding the tax on shipping cost. And thus not the total tax amount being charged: over the product including shipping.
I might be missing something, but can someone put me on the right track so I do get the complete tax listed?
Examples:
Black Nazareth – CD -Signed!! × 1 €15,00
Subtotal €15,00
Shipping
UPS SHIPPING
ups shipping
€7,32
Total €22,32 (includes €2,60 VAT)
————————————————–
VAT is 21%, of the total 22,32 should be 3.87
