Is there a way to fix this to inherit the site identity icon?

I hope this is the correct forum to place my question.
I’m setting up a blog using the theme “flat”.
Today I wanted to change the name that’s displayed in the browser’s tab from the url to an actual name. But for some reason nothing works.
I tried placing
my websites name
at the very top of my header.php document. I tried using the option via settings>general of WP. I tried different forms of the
command that I copied from various forum threads I found online. I tried putting a command that involved…filters? into the functions.php.
Nothings works and I have no clue why. I feel like the template is maybe messing with the manually inserted code or something?
Pleaaase help me.
(English is not my native language. I can totally understand everything written but my written English is not perfect)

I’d like to remove the word ‘WordPress’ from my browser tab when someone visits the login page. This seems to be the only page it shows up on like this.
It displays
[favicon] Log In < GNAZZ–Wordpress
On the Registration page it says (which we added within WordPress)
[favicon] GNAZZ–Collab with Local Creatives.
Once logged in it will show the page name and/or the username.
I do not see any options within the plugin settings to edit this. I posted in the main WP forum and they directed me here.
I am also using the Customify (child) Theme
Thank you.
Visit gnz.me and select login from the menu
First of all, great plugin! Secondly, is there a way to have the popup triggered when the user closes just the browser tab?
Right now, the user has to close the browser itself to trigger the popup on the next visit.
Here are my current settings https://prntscr.com/h6xm1w
thanks!
<?php wp_head(); ?> seems to insert that information into the events page, right?
But it doesn’t seem to insert the title (most likely generated in the general-template.php).
I am using Divi Theme and have also Yoast as a Plugin. Without Yoast it displays nothing, the separator and the pagename
Is there a way to fix that?
Thanks in advance
I noticed that Yoast SEO added “Author at” in front of my website’s title on the browser tab for the author’s page.
Using a string locator, I found that it appeared in /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/options/class-wpseo-option-titles.php
I changed the word ‘Author’ to something else, but it is not reflecting.
Is it changeable? Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!
