Pages not displaying correctly sometimes

Okay so I been using spectra with astra theme. and this has been going on for a while I was supposed to be done with the site by now but this site keeps breaking. all my items move to the left the words are not displayed correctly and everything just looks broken. when im editing it happens but I just reload the page and its gone. for the people that are not logged in it happens a lot and it stays there until the website is updated. please help me.

I have had the plugin for a while and it’s been a month or so sice I had the coming soon page displayed.

When I went to launch it today I get a blank screen with “content for this page is empty”

What the ? My client website is down and I tried new settings but no luck.

Deactivated plugin but still broken website.

I finally accessed the server and renamed the plugin folder coming-soon-x and got the site back.

What kind of company does something like this ?

My Website Only Loads When Logged Into the Admin Panel—Help Needed!

Aloha all!

I’ve recently encountered a puzzling issue with my website that I hope someone can help me resolve. The site works perfectly when I’m logged into the admin panel, but as soon as I log out, it stops loading for both desktop and mobile users. Instead, I’m met with a frustrating blue screen.

What’s even more perplexing is that I haven’t made any changes to the site in quite some time. To troubleshoot, I’ve already updated all my plugins and cleared the cache, but the issue persists.

If anyone has experienced something similar or knows how to fix this, I would be incredibly grateful for your assistance.

In March, this community helped me, a woodworker not a web developer, fix my site that was a haven for Aussie gambling posts. I used a new 2024 template and all was well, until this week. The site is now…something else.

I can log into my WP dashboard, but every feature is forbidden.

Can you please help me? All I want is my old site back.

Post layout issue after update 6.6

Hello

The last update of WP 6.6 kind of made few weird troubles. The first on is the social icons menu where the icons are all in different place (nomore in line)

but the weirdest is the post layout. At first I couldn’t do anything as the layout is like having a wide screen meaning it is larger than the normal screen size.

WIth this issue all the boxed normally placed on the side of the text box and underneath are all on the right side on each other with a large width.

I tried to change it but nothing would do. You grab and move but it comes into place. The first block with the button update is under others.

Sometimes it comes back to normal so I try to update my post but then it comes back to this issue with boxes on top of each others.

I tried disabling plugins but it didn’t do

Can you help me on this one? will you fix this shortly with an upgrade?

Sorry i can’t include the site, I’m hosting it locally so I can’t really show it to you all.
Today my site lost a lot of its functionality. I can’t press the “view page” buttons while in the editor, the “edit site” shortcut in the dashboard doesn’t work and I can only edit the site with the “edit site” button on the top left while viewing the site. What’s really weird is the home page looks fine on the viewer, but when I try clicking the buttons to get to other pages it says “the requested URL was not found on this server”.
I also can’t do a lot of other things in the editor. The style is gone from the background, it can’t find the other pages for the header (says Page List: cannot retrieve pages) and the header also says “Site Title Placeholder” instead of my actual site title. Basically something is going super wrong with the editor where it’s missing like 75% of what should be on my site.
The actual viewing part of my site seems mostly fine except for the missing page connections.
Any ideas of what could be causing this?? The only thing I’ve changed recently was pasting from the backup folder in xampp/mysql/backup into xampp/mysql/data/ since that’s the fix for MySQL failing to run in xampp. I don’t think that should actually change anything with the site though since the backup folder doesn’t have the folder with the site database, only sql stuff.

I don’t edit my site often, but now I can’t edit any widget, and I believe this occurred after an auto-update. I also don’t have the technical savvy or time to sort this out, so I would pay a WP expert to do it for me.

str_contains() is PHP 8.0 only – broken compatibility

Plugin requirements states that minimum PHP version is 7.4 but the last plugin version (4.2.0) uses two calls to the function str_contains() (in the settings.php file) that is PHP 8.0 only, breaking my site (and assume many others…)

A simple patch changing str_contains() to strpos() in the mentioned file fixes the issue. Please, consider doing so in your code, or update the requirements to be PHP 8.0.

ElementsKit Lite Broke My Site, Can’t Fix it

Forgive me as this is my first post. I have a small site using WP.
I received an email indicating that ElementsKit Lite plugin has broken it.
Which it is indeed down. Displaying a critical error message.

I have tried to turn the plugin off through my cPanel and it keeps turning itself back on.

And It won’t let me delete it.

I am completely at a loss. I have tried to use recovery mode to access my sites dashboard and while it logs me into the dashboard it does not allow me to actually select anything or go anywhere, just takes me back to the page with the critical error.

How can I fix this? And why is this breaking my site?

I don’t want to do the latest update or run a backup while it is down with this critical error.

Needs to support PHP 8…

I have been using this for a long time (paid version) and the site breaks when I switch to PHP 8. This is for a client site and I can’t update the Genesis blocks plugin until I can use PHP 8.
