We have a text widget with words from the glossary, but for some reason the closing quotation mark of the data-cmtooltip attribute in their tooltip is encoded as ", thus obfuscating all the following HTML.

I found that the code creating the tooltip is in the glossaryFree.php file on line 2054, and if I change the quotation mark to a single quote and escape it, then it’s not encoded and the following HTML is fine.

This is the code as it is in the plugin:

But of course I can’t make this change in the code since it would be overridden by the next plugin update.

This happens only on one of our servers, a server that in on the Azure cloud and has PHP 7.4 on it. The bug doesn’t occur in our on premise servers running 7.3.

Do you have any idea why this would happen and how I can solve it?

There is a bug in review slider pro where every single review added to a page has an extra (or many extra) closing P tags.

in the file hreflang-tags-by-dcgws/hreflang-init.php on the line 58 you have an unclosed html tags <strong><i> that break WP admin html.

I have problem with displaying posts on second language on my website. Website is made with elementor and astra theme. So, when I change from my default language (Serbian) to English, posts below heading News on homepage are displaying strane. You will see titles of the posts (red color) on strange position with closing tag. As like HTML is broken. I can’t hide that strange titles from posts. Also because of that, image of post going down. That you can see on the right post with image.

I hope you have some solution, because I didn’t solve the problem with few attempts.

after the latest TranslatePress update (without updating anything else in my website) HTML tag <trp-post-container data-trp-post-id></trp-post-container> shows up on already translated pages.

The problem seen in the screenshot below appears on the breadcrumb. To be more specific, the problem appears to be only with the title of the current page on the breadcrumb path.

I can fix it by translating ‘<trp-post-container data-trp-post-id>PAGINA DE START</trp-post-container>’ as a single string to ‘HOMEPAGE’ but I don’t like that solution.

Whatever I said on my previous review is probably not as relevant compared to my new complaint.

For context, I stepped away from WordPress-based projects. But now I needed to return and I had hoped Gutenberg improved greatly. It sort of did, I’d be lying if I said the plugin was just as bad.

I like a good page builder, it’s relaxing to just rapidly try out new designs and see which ones the client likes the most. Gutenberg being part of vanilla WordPress is definitely a step in the right direction, unfortunately it botches that a big problem:

The blocks destroy themselves when you ‘edit as html’

I swear it’s extremely frustrating to have designed your own Cover banner for the site, only for it to break and you’ll have to hit ctrl-z a bunch of times just to attempt to find the problem.

Other than that, I think the dev team for this is really listening well to criticism and are improving it over time.

I’ve got other nitpicks but honestly they’re not worth elaborating on.

Now, over the weekend, I found a little more time to spend with the technical side of my website. I finally re-activated Lazy Images, the one feature I had to remove previously because it broke my header. Now I adjusted my child theme, so this seems to work just fine. Afterwards I revisited the settings of YOUR plugin, changed a couple of things, and re-activated it. But I still get errors!

Problems, which still persist:
1. Now, with lazy image loading enabled, the top images load later than you need to read the text around them. One basically has scrolled past their location before they load.
2. Some (but now only SOME) images never load on photo heavy posts! As a travel blog my site has quite a few of these.
3. In some cases (as an example please open the link at the bottom) there’s a long line of html code in the middle of the page! I never had an issue like this before I activated WebP Express. This happened earlier in the week too (see bottom right mobile capture in the first image, link further up), and it happens again now! I cleared my cache – the problem persists! I then opened the source code of the page and found this

I think I have also narrowed down the problem – but I have no resolution! The new HTML seems to stumble if/when I have a photo credit link at the end of the image caption. This seems to explain what is happening, but not the why!

The plugin for the galleries is called “Tiled Galleries Carousel Without Jetpack”. And no, I cannot remove this plugin, I use these galleries on nearly 50% of all posts (that makes it 100+ posts).

Please help! I don’t want to give up on your otherwise great plugin…
