All plugins, the theme, and WordPress are up to date. I deactivated all plugins, one at a time, with no changes detected except for expected loss of custom footer. The images broke on the home page, leading me to believe I need to save permalinks. But I can’t get them without the dashboard.
Any ideas where I can look to identify the issue and find a solution? I have searched high and low in the forums, with no success finding prior posts that I can confirm are like this issue.
]]>P.s. I recently shifted hosting providers and had to import everything over. Could this be because of broken links that are mapped to the old hosting maybe? Or is it a plugin malfunctioning?
Thank you very much in advance mate, I really would appreciate your help WordPress senseis!
]]>1. When I activate a theme (I have tried two different ones), it shows up on my blogs but breaks the dashboards. I have to deactivate the themes via FTP to fix the dashboards.
2. I get “Oops! That page can’t be found.” when I try to visit the following pages in my dashboards – https://www.pages-by-deanna.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category, https://www.pages-by-deanna.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag, https://www.pages-by-deanna.com/wp-admin/upload.php, https://www.pages-by-deanna.com/wp-admin/options-media.php, https://www.the-monkees-blog.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category, https://www.the-monkees-blog.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=post_tag, https://www.the-monkees-blog.com/wp-admin/upload.php and https://www.the-monkees-blog.com/wp-admin/options-media.php.
These are the first blogs I have tried to set up using 5.1.1 so I’m thinking that is the culprit.
]]>I’m not real good with the tech stuff so hoping someone can help me. After trying to log into my dashboard after a very long time, I wasn’t able to log-in anymore. I read up on these forums and most said remove all active pluggins – which I did and lost all of my images, etc on my site.
After this I was able to access the dashboard again but I can’t do anything in it.
It’s completely different and won’t let me do anything. It’s just showing activity (none) and latest news. I’ve lost all the links to my pages, etc.
Can any one help me please? I’m completely lost and don’t know where to start.
Thanks in advance.
]]>I am having major issues with our website. I do not have access to SETTINGS & PLUGINS on my dashboard.
I have the latest version of WordPress and I cannot contact the person who developed the site for us.
According to my user access – I am a Administrator.
I am on www.remarpro.com not .com
If someone could provide a step by step instruction on how to resolve this issue It would be appreciated.
]]>RedirectMatch 301 ^/([^/]+)/([^/]+).html$ https://www.mydomain.com/$2
The redirect appears to have been successful since all links of the old format are correctly redirecting to their corresponding content, which now displays the new format permalinks.
However, the dashboard link on the top toolbar now gives me a 404 error on a page with url /index.
Why has this happened and how can I fix it? Thank you!
Edit: Sorry, here’s the site in question: https://www.parsleymonster.com/ It’s a brand new clean install because I’m making sure I get the procedure right before implementing it on a huge established site.
]]>Website: www.jeniwren.com
I was in the process of editing my Simplemag theme for WordPress, which required me to make a change in one or two theme files (as per this page here… once I did that, the whole site broke as well as the dashboard…
I now can’t long into my WordPress admin and view my dashboard, and I have no idea what to do to my website to get it working again
I can access my cpanel and the raw files, but no clue what to do to get my dashboard back so I can restore my site to a basic theme so it’s at least loading.
Any advice?
