I de-activate the wishlist yith plugin and now it work but I would like to keep the yith wishlist plugin… what can I do?

Critical error on my website after Marvy install

Prior to installing Marvy, my website was perfectly fine.
I often open WordPress dashboard to update plugins monthly and read if there are any errors.

Worpress Version: 5.6
Elementor Version 3.0.15
Marvy Version 1.5.0

I wanted snow effect bec it’s Christmas.
Installed Marvy (Background Animations for Elementor) bec it says it’s compatible for Elementor.

I went into the Settings of Marvy in my WordPress dashboard and see what options there are.
I turn off all except for “snow animation” feature.
I did not create anything as stated in the documentation.
I checked my website just to see what would happen to my website.
On my website it gave me the error page and link to debugging WordPress:
“There has been a critical error on this website.
Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”

I immediately deactivated Marvy and deleted the plugin.
I checked my website and gave the same error page.

I went to the WordPress plugin page and checked what plugin Marvy messed up.
I saw that it was Elementor that was messed up right after I installed the Marvy plugin.

I can deactivate Elementor to get my website back without the error page but I use Elementor to build my website.
It’s only when I installed the Marvy plugin that somehow gave this error and also messed with the Elementor plugin.

Udate of the latest version breaks my website

I updated yesterday the plug-in to version Version 2.5.0 and it broke my complete website. I had to deactivate the plug-in so my side is working again.

I am running on WordPress 5.5.3 running

I’ve used this plugin about a year ago, and since I was in need of a picture optimization plugin I thought “Why don’t you just use the one you bought back then?”. Well…. I didn’t remember it broke my website back then… Until it broke it again right now :). I know it’s my fault that I didn’t do a backup beforehand, but who would have thought that the plugin is the same garbage.

So if you think about trying Shortpixel, make sure to make a backup or just save your money and get a proper picture optimization plugin.

Can′t acess to mobile website

I install this plugin and improve a lot my score speed and i was happy with it but get me a bigger troubler.
I can′t acess to my website on mobile an tablet when i have the plugin on, if i disable it i can acess.
My question is there are a solution or should i look for another one?

Broke my Website & It doesn’t work

Hello,

Your plugins has several problems and please, I need help urgently:

1– Using Storefront, Woocommerce, and PageBuilder, I’ve tested this plugin on two of my websites throught two mobile devices, and two browsers as well. And the first error is always the same. When I open my homepage the first time, the “mobile menu” works fine, but if I go to another page, or even if I refresh the same page or homepage, the “mobile menu” will no work anymore. If you try to touch the menu button nothing happen, except that my website address mydomain.com/ will show this symbol “#” added, for example: mydomain.com/#.

2– The first issues is not enough for me to ask for solutions. But, If this plugin broke my whole website, maybe your PLUGIN is causing a lot of problems to other people as well. A technician from my hosting said that maybe your plugin has some elements “hard-coded”.

After uninstalling the plugin and refreshed my website I received the following errors:

a) Warning: fopen(photography-portfolio/photography-portfolio.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/MyDomainName/public_html/market/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5462

b) Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/MyDomainName/public_html/market/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5465

c) Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/MyDomainName/public_html/market/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5468

So, I went to my FILE MANAGER on CPANEL, to find the errors inside the functions.php (folder wp-includes) and I found the following lines:

I: // We don’t need to write to the file, so just open for reading.
$fp = fopen( $file, ‘r’ );
II: // Pull only the first 8kiB of the file in.
$file_data = fread( $fp, 8192 );
III: // PHP will close file handle, but we are good citizens.
fclose( $fp );

When I removed these lines, my website didn’t show the errors, but instead of that, show a lot of new errors. Then I decided to remove the lines one by one to see each problem separately, and after this action, my website didn’t work anymore, and I’ve tried everything.

I needed to pay to my hosting services to restore my website again. But the problem is that this version of my website still has YOUR PLUGIN installed, and I’ll kindly ask you to fix it to give me the option if I want to keep or remove it from my website.

People needs to remove every kind of plugins cleanly without any issues or failure of any kinds. I hope you could fix these problems rapidly, because I need to move forward.

Broke my website after deactivation

I am sorry to say this but I hate this plugin. It broke my website (5.03) after deactivation. And I will tell you why:

I have restored my database and tried to delete this plugin manualy public_html/client/wp-content/plugins

After this my website went down AGAIN!

So I restored my website and went to delete all tables of this plugin in my database, after I deleted this plugin manualy. My website went donw AGAIN.

I just can’t get rid ot his plugin without breaking my website!

DO NOT USE. THIS TOOK MY WHOLE SITE DOWN.

DLing this plugin turned up a parse error that broke my entire website, preventing me from deleting the plugin, and functionally locking me out of any kind of functionality in the entire wp installation.

DO NOT USE unless you want to spend several hours doing damage control.

FVM 2.1.5 Broke Our Entire Website

Hi Raul,

Your latest revision, FVM V2.1.5, broke our entire site. Yes, we flushed our cache with FVM 2.1.5 on, WordPress Managed Hosting, and Cloudflare to no avail. The second we deactivated FVM 2.1.5, our website came back up. We also reloaded FVM 2.1.4 and our website is working just fine. So, the problem lies with whatever you did to go from 2.1.4 to 2.1.5.

Hope you can identify the issue. Being a developer guru, I’m sure you will. Have a great week.

Now, get back to work (lol).

Cannot login into dashboard just refreshes password is correct

Hello,

I cannot login into my wordPress dashboard. Password is correct I tried removing all of the redirect address up until wp-login.php and then login. This did not work it still redirects back to the same screen. What is the issue also I am on hosting on Google Cloud platform.
