I tested (fortunately) this plugin in one of my smallest sites, in order to check how it worked and that I could uninstall it in the future if necessary.

Unfortunately, the process didn’t work out well, more than 500 images dissapeared and stopped working, and the owners of the plugin don’t offer any real solution that works. The only solution provided was to manually restore the images, which I did (using their export function), but some images are still lost and I don’t have any way to recover them easily.

The owners justify that the plugin works for most cases, stating that “Our plugin is designed to function efficiently across a wide range of environments, yet unforeseen interactions with specific configurations can occasionally result in issues like the ones you’ve experienced.”, which is a red flag for me, as this was just a small and simple test.

I would never trust something so important and sensible as the images of my websites to a plugin/company that does not take responsability if anything goes wrong.

This test gave so much work and I had to invest so much of time just to get back where I started, can definitely not recommend it.

I can not recommend this plugin in any way at all. Twice it has broken my site after an update. I’m in the middle of restoring backups and then recreating changes since the latest update. I have wasted so much time with this plugin. I’m changing to something else.

This plugin is problematic; it created a critical issue on my site, and it is impossible to reversed to normal. It is impossible to use this plugin, so I deleted it from the server, but still, my site is in a troubleshooting mood. This plugin broke my site.

Hummingbird broke my site

I installed the free version and used a hummingbird plugin but it broke my site so I deleted it but my site was not reverted to the same position. I also deleted the advannce.php and plugin folder from the root directory. I searched config.php but I don’t have it in my directory.
What should I do to remove the after-effects of plugins?

Here is the link you will see images are missing from the header and from the middle portion and it happens to many pages.

Hi,

After updating to the lastest version (Version 3.43.0) the “subscribe new posts” (Receba os Novos Artigos por Email) widget title shows at the top of the Right Sideber and not above fields “name” (nome) and “email”.

Can you please check this?

Site taken down by cleantalk – wp_doing_cron issue

We have a site that has been using cleantalk for quite sometime. The site is on WP 4.5. Apparently on November 24th something happened where suddenly the plugin was looking for a wp_doing_cron function that wasn’t even introduced until WP 4.8. The website was presenting a 500 error until today when we noticed. We ripped the cleantalk plugin out and now the site is up.

With Cleantalk being compatible with WP 3.0 and higher, why did this happen? A website was down for over a week because of this!

It is possible for your certifcate to take longer than 24 hours to authorize. I am going on 2 days now without any timeframe given to me. Support is less than helpful. my site is unusable because of this. Unsecure and constant https errors. My site was fine before using cloudflare and now it is completely unusable. I am very frustrated and support isn’t helping.

Edit: I changed to 3 stars as I am still very unhappy with the trouble caused by a simple omission of a potential flaw. My site was unusable for over 3 days and no one bothered telling me all I had to do was put Cloudflare on Pause until the certificate cleared.

Well what a mess up.

Your last major update caused my image / attachment page settings to change without me knowing, defaulting to an option I DIDN’T want (and never had previously).

I went from 330 indexed pages and great rankings in Google, to 1530 pages indexed along with daily drops in traffic.

Absolutely ridiculous, totally pointless update – and I bet you’ve cost a lot of people a LOT of time and money.
