I have used many themes from athemes. I chose Ignis because I wanted a simple, bright-looking theme for a website to embed my podcast videos and audios. Compared to more complex themes, it was very easy to set up and get the effect I wanted.

It has all the features I need for this application and I like the support I get from the team at aThemes.

Watermarked PNGs get whitewashed

PNGs get whitewashed when I apply a watermark to them.

The fill size drops dramatically and the picture looks very bright/white-ish.
JPGs work fine.

My pics are 32bit PNGs if that matters. The opacity I’m using is 30% and the image quality is set to 100.

Please fix this. Thanks!

[Feature Request] Night-Mode Trigger?

Hello, I was wondering if there was some way for me to include a “night mode” for the Independent Publisher theme.

My thinking is that the mostly pure-white theme is very straining to the eyes during the evening/night time, and I would like, according to the time-zone of the visitor, to have the theme switch the colors inverted to mostly black (so again, it’s easy on the eyes). Kinda like a F.lux desktop application, but applied to the website instead.

Any way to go about this? Could a plugin do this for me? Even something simple as including a manual button to click on the site to change this manually for a user would be fine too.

Photo uploads too bright/ saturated

So I’m using the exact same process I used for other uploads but the last few uploads are SUPER saturated. It’s very noticeable and icky looking. They’re being edited in photoshop, saved JPEG, RGB, 8 bit. Even using the “save for web and devices” option I get the weird color difference. Any ideas? This is driving me up the wall.
