ConvertPro is one of the products by the makers of the popular Astra theme and many other wordpress plugins and products. (https://www.convertpro.net/)
ConvertPro has a Recaptcha integration but I much prefer Turnstile.
Way to go Astra & Brainstorm Force. You deserve 5 Stars as always.
Astra Pro helped me get there. The documentation for their features is extensive. Help is a click away. Once the lightbulb goes off, you figure out the features slowly and surely and before you know it, you’re off and running.
Mobile view setup is difficult for me, but Brainstorm Force has an excellent support team. Response is fast, they try to understand your issue and provide a resolution, not just an answer. They also stick with you until you are satisfied.
Astra Pro by Brainstorm Force is a great way to go. You’ll want to pair it up with the right mix of plugins that work for you, but be sure that Astra Pro will be right there with you and the Brainstorm Force folks have your back!
What sets this “review” apart is that I used MS FrontPage for 25 years (B26 .com). Adapting to a responsive design was a challenge, and I struggled to grasp WordPress while experimenting with various themes I purchased. Astra from Brainstorm Force turned out to be the perfect fit. Their exceptional customer service and follow-up deserve an A+. Even my seemingly foolish questions about Customizer versus Edit Page were met with patience through numerous email exchanges. Can you believe it? I probably gave their tech support a headache – my apologies. Thanks to them, I’m well on my way to becoming an Astra WordPress expert. A heartfelt thank you for your assistance!
The Memcached option is incompatible with the Spectra blocks plugin by Brainstormforce.
If this is enabled, when you attempt to select a Google Font (such as Fira Sans) for something like the label on an FAQ or Icon list block, the block will crash unrecoverably.
THe only way to fix it is to go into the block code and remove the LOad Google find instruction in the tag. If you do this, the block recovers. (It does NOT display a block recovery button).
If I disable Speed Optimizer, or simple just disable the memcached option, all the blocks automatically recover.
I have been a long-term user of this plugin, having been drawn to Brainstorm Force due to its high ratings and positive reviews. However, my experience has led me to question the validity of these reviews.
My perception of Brainstorm Force is that they treat their users as test subjects for their products. While they may eventually develop a refined plugin, such as the Astra theme, the question remains whether the potential frustration and issues encountered along the way are worth it.
In my opinion, they are not. I find Brainstorm Force to be overrated and the recent issues that led to my store breaking was the final straw. There are superior alternatives available that often go unnoticed due to the pervasive belief that Brainstorm Force is the best, yet few can provide a valid justification for this claim.
I urge potential users to explore other options and not be swayed solely by high ratings, as I was. Many excellent plugins are overlooked due to Brainstorm Force’s prominent marketing presence.
I am deeply disappointed with my recent experiences with Brainstorm Force. Despite having invested in their theme, I have ceased using it entirely.
I have retained Spectra, a product which Brainstorm Force once claimed would always be free. This claim, I have found, is untrue. The current bundle is unresponsive on various devices and causes numerous conflicts. Continued use of Spectra may necessitate a complete overhaul of your blocks due to these issues.

The support process starts with blaming plugins. I use very few plugins, and they are all highly rated plugins. I’ve never had a problem with plugins, just problems with Astra.

<!– wp:paragraph –>

The next reply is clear cache. Neither of the first 2 steps ever fixes the problems.

<!– /wp:paragraph –>
<!– wp:paragraph –>

The next step is set up a staging site. I did, still no fix. Support sent custom code and screenshots that showed the problem fixed. The screenshots did not even show the problem.

<!– /wp:paragraph –>
<!– wp:paragraph –>

After the the first 2 steps, support offers a fix every 24 hours. Usually, the fixes don’t work.

Astra seems to staff its support with amateurs who aren’t serious and lack any apparent techincal skill. So far, the current problem is a week with no fix and now no reply.

<!– /wp:paragraph –>
<!– wp:paragraph –>

Support blames the slow response on a higher than usual ticket volume. This is a common Brainstorm Force excuse. This is a Brainstorm Force business problem, not a customer problem. Also, it sounds like a lot of other customers have problems with Astra too.

I had Priority support for a year. The response time was still very slow. Usually, the fixes still didn’t work. If Priority support worked, I would be glad to pay for it, but it’s a waste of money.
