Mscan not working?

Hi there,
I have just installed BPS for the first time, am a newbie. I have started a scan several times and the dialogue window opens but after several hours, nothing seems to be happening. Using Chrome browser. What am I doing wrong? How long should an Mscan take on average?

I’d been using BulletProof Security for years, being very satisfied with the comprehensive level of protection it provided.

However, after transitioning away from Apache/Lighttpd to an Nginx hosting solution, BulletProof Security was no longer able to provide full protection, being primarily a .htaccess based solution. Nginx does not support .htaccess.

After checking around and looking at a number of reviews, I gave NinjaFirewall a go. The UI is simple and very easy to follow. The plugin feels very polished.

I have a couple sites that sit behind CloudFlare, and a simple config file was needed to make that work well, but a sample file is provided and it was as easy as moving/renaming it to the right location and un-commenting some lines (as per the provided guide). NinjaFirewall detected it right away.

The real test will be time. After about 10 years, BulletProof Security never let me down across multiple sites. Hopefully NinjaFirewall can live up to that standard.

Hi,
How can I use a search widget on WordPress website ?
When I try a to search a string, I have a “403 forbidden” page.
It seems to be because of the “RewriteRule ^(.*)$ – [F]” line at the end of in my root .htaccess
What can I do ?

Before using BPS Pro version, my client’s websites were constantly being infiltrated by back door hackers.

So happy I no longer have to deal with these pests as Bullet Proof Security Pro keeps not only all of my websites protected but also my clients.

BulletProof Security Core Files Setup ERROR

Hi,
After running the “SETUP WIZARD” found 3 error inside “BulletProof Security Core Files Setup” tab .

As follows:

Error: Unable to create or update File /home/xxxxxx/forums.xxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/login/.htaccess

Error: Unable to create or update File /home/xxxxxx/forums.xxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/core/.htaccess

Error: Unable to create or update File /home/xxxxxx/forums.xxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/bulletproof-security/admin/wizard/.htaccess

Is this issue normal ? I mean can be ignored or needs to be solved ?

Seriously !
After having it installed yesterday (actually using a security plugin for the first time as one of my found few loopholes on my blog few days ago) my all issue gone .

Undoubtedly, the must have wordpress security plugin (free) . Soon will be upgrading to Pro .

WP Rocket 3.x.x isn’t recognised?

It came to my attention that BPS doesn’t recognise the latest WP Rocket and thinks it is deactivated while it isn’t, image as proof: https://image.ibb.co/grLKb7/wprocket.png

And with the BPS Wizard it also doesn’t auto configure the Caching/Compression HTACCESS code anymore. The error code I assume is because I added the htaccess code myself and BPS is thinking the plugin is not activated whilst it is.

Is this a known error and if so when might it get fixed?
