Bottom Padding White Space (Tablet & Mobile)

Hello all,

I’m having a recurring issue with the bottom padding / white space appearing on this site and am not too sure how to solve this issue.

I’ve already tried:
Customize > General Options > General Settings > Content padding > Bottom: 0px

I’ve also tried:
.site-content {
padding-bottom: 0px;
}

Any help or guidance on how to take care of this would be appreciated

I don’t know how to take the ‘built with storefront and woocommerce” off the bottom of the page and add more stuff to that spot of the page like contact, policys etc.

Sidebar showing at bottom of page, site-wide

Hi there.
The problem: My sidebar has recently started to appear below the page content, (I have used the same Asteroid theme now for 4 years). This doesn’t show up in Firefox (which I generally use) but when I check my site in both Chrome and Edge, the sidebar appears at the bottom, on all posts and pages.
I have tried de-activating various plug-ins, to no avail. Other posts I have read on the subject appear to have this happen on one page only, but my problem is site-wide. Can anyone help, please? My email address is: [email protected].

Videos not popping out and go to bottom of page

WP Video Lightbox was working fine up to a few weeks ago, and suddenly it started acting weird. The images that I was using as anchors became huge (before they were somehow automatically resized to fit in the height and width provided) and the videos stopped popping out and instead went to the bottom left edge of the page.

I’ve had to edit every image and resize them to fit within the dimensions provided for lightbox. To fix the sudden oversized issue and get rid of the new scroll bars.

I have deactivated and reactivated all my plugins and nothing seems to make it work like before.

Is there something I can do to fix that ?

Text widget sidebar appearing at bottom of page, not top

New to wordpress/web site building.

Under “Appearance”, I created a TEXT sidebar, calling it “Header” and wish to put this text with hyperlink onto my homepage under pull down menus, above the purple “Get Everfest” banner.

But I get lost when I go to the homepage – do I plug this in via the GDLR shortcode or do I use the page builder section? Either way, I’m not sure how to get that sidebar. Any GDLR shortcode puts it at the very bottom of the homepage, and there’s no seeming way to edit it to appear at the top.

HELP!

sidebar twitter widget also shows up at bottom of page

Hi,
Originally, I had the twitter widget at the bottom of the page. I did this via the blue and white customize page. Then I decided to move the twitter widget to the sidebar on my twenty-ten theme page (melissabanczak.com). I added it and it worked just fine. Then I remembered that I still had it at the bottom. So, I went back to the blue and white customize page and removed it from the widget list. This made it disappear from the sidebar as well. I don’t want or need it in both places. How do I get rid of the one on the bottom and keep the sidebar?

Images bump to the bottom of page (Easy Fancybox)

Hi!
Had this problem already after activating Autoptimize and optimizing CSS. Instead of opening the image in a lightbox, the image bumped to the bottom of page in a displaced overlay background.

Got this to work with excluding easy fancybox’ css file ( jquery.fancybox-1.3.7.css) in autoptimize.
Now, suddenly, after neither updates, plugin installations nor minor changes had been made, this behaviour started again. Now it’s limited to smaller screen sizes. Works when I deactivate CSS-optimizing.

Would be very happy for any help with this as I’m really stuck here – thanks!

Option To Stick Element To Page Bottom?

This plugin works very well for desktop and mobile users on my responsive-themed website https://structuredfoundationrepairshouston.com

I used it initially to stick the narrow black “topbar” div with a Call To Action at the top of my home/blog page. This functioned well but was not the location for conversion as often as one might think. (This site converts organic traffic at a healthy 12.37%.)

Now I’m using Sticky Menu to enhance a CTA located at the end of the first blog post, and, I am testing with expectations of an increased percentage of conversions.

Is it possible to modify the plugin to stick to the browser bottom-of-page rather than the top? Is this an option you would consider adding?
