sorry, this feels like a really lame (and pretty much “general wordpress rather than booster per se” question, but i please need your help:

i’ve noticed my booster plus being outdated and not updating.

it’s 5.6.4, and the wordfence scan just informed me that there is a vulnerability in it which has since been patched, so i wondered why it hasn’t updated.

Now I basically have two questions:

1. the plugin has a button “check for updates”. when i click it, nothing happens, except the page refreshing. after that, everything is the same as it was.. looks like there is something wrong here, right? i assume it should display the newest version and offer an “update” button or something? but it’s nothing there. (How) can i find out what’s wrong here, and why there’s no update button?
2. I logged into the Booster homepage, and from there, i can of course download the current version. but nowhere on that page do i find instructions on if that’s an “official” way to update it, and how exactly i should do it (i’m not familiar with this updating process at all). Do i need to disable+remove the current version, then upload the new one to my webspace? Will my settings be deleted? If so, how can i save a backup of them?

We use Booster Plus, but is not updating to a newer version. I have uninstalled Booster and removed it, and deactivated en actived Booster Plus. It remains on version [Booster Plus for WooCommerce] Version: 5.4.8 however.

When I de activate all plugins (not woo commerce) the problem is there when I try to activate booster plus
The booster free was working before

What conflict could it be? Other plugins akismet, loginzier, word fence?

The plugin seller is not responding anymore

and/or is there another reliable plugin to create a role based store?

I was looking for a solution with my particular use-case and stumbled into this plugin. I was really glad, since both the developer and the plugin name were very familiar. Unfortunately when digging into my Booster Plus’s settings, i noticed that this particular plugin is very outdated as part of Booster Plus suite.

I would like to understand if the Booster Plus suite will no longer be developed and if there is an alternative to replace it in case you are no longer interested in developing the suite.

I’m using Booster plus. I found a bug so I report it. I’m french and not fluent in english.

I’m using personnalized shipping methods and created some instanced-based shipping method with flat rate. I putted the price exl. tax. : 7,50 euros.

The VAT calculation was errored. The final tax incl. price was not the good one. I found the solution writing “7.5” and not “7,50”. The VAT calculation problem was solved.

It’s a bug because in France, we write it “7,50” and not “7.5”. So it’s a source of problems.

French people could meet this problem too, even me if I forget it in a few monthes, so please solve it.

But my problem was that when I upgraded to the new version of the add-on the conversion USD / MX failed inside the cart (preset so that it converts the price and the amount to the main currency) and everything was because I still did not update WC because I still have the version 2.6.14. They strongly recommended that, despite how painful it can be to update, do it as soon as possible to avoid failures in the different supplements later. Their response was very quick and effective and they helped me correct this problem.
