normal text gets bolded inview or preview, looks normal in Classic Editor

Starting last week, I’m unable to control what ‘paragraph’ text is bolded in posts. Almost everything is bold. I’ve searched for missing end-tags without luck. I’ve tried style=”font-weight: normal”. It’s very messed up.

Hi there,

I’m having a problem with the bold text in the block editor (backend) while editing a post with the Google Chrome browser.

In frontend, it will be displayed correctly.

In Firefox, however, it is displayed as it should be. Please check the screenshot below with developer tools open in Google Chrome to check the code behind it.

I disabled all plugins and checked if a plugin was the cause. It wasn’t.

Hello, I have a small problem, I previously had the names of authors in bold in the frontend, and after changing the old theme by OceanWP, impossible to find these bold author names.

The text of many of my plug-ins and the input into the visual editor has suddenly become bolded, as has all the p text on my website. I’ve been unable to change the p text on my site to 400 or normal with CSS. The H text is unaffected. I’ve deactivated all my plug-ins one by one but didn’t find one that caused the problem. Can anyone help me?

Is there a code that would allow me to bold the linkable words I use in my blog posts automatically for every post?
My website is www.kiteenscloset.com and for example, in the phrase “you can find this jacket HERE” I would like “here” to be bold and all other underlined links in all of my posts.
I am not very tech savvy so would need a step by step instruction if there is a way to do this. Thanks in advance!

Something strange happened on this page (https://kennispleinconditiemeten.nl/forum/).

Only on the webpage, where I activated the Asgarus forum with [forum] my whole copyright text as well as my footer widgets text are marked bold. While this isn’t what it meant to be.

Does anyone have a clue, how this could be the case and more importantly, how can I fix this “bug”?

Very, very annoying. Other posts here mention fixing the CSS. Not my forte. I’ve been using a Twenty Ten child for about 2 years without this problem. This has just started happening in the last few months, presumably after an automatic update of WordPress. Now I have no control over the bold or paragraph spacing.

Please fix it and issue another update.

I’m using the most updated Tesseract Theme. The website I’m working on is https://02db6fd.netsolhost.com/wordpress1/. I’d like to center the footer navigation menu and make the footer navigation menu text bold and larger. I’ve searched the forum and have tried working with the CSS, but nothing is changing. I have a very basic working knowledge of CSS and I am using the plugin Simple Custom CSS.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
