I have an issue with my website where product photos displayed inside a category or displayed in the “Similar Products” section look very blurry. For example:
https://echipamenteprotectie.com/product-category/manusi/uz-industrial/
Behavior:
Sometimes, if you click the product photo and go to the product page, then you click the “back” button in your browser, the photo will be high quality again. If you go to the home page and navigate through categories up to that product, the photo will be blurry again. I can’t understand what is going on.
All my product photos are 800×800 px. They look fine everywhere except inside a catergory or similar products.
The blurry photos show up only on PC. They look fine on phones.
Settings > Media:
150×150
350×350
800×800
I have also played with the values in Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images and nothing happened.
]]>However, could you please offer Retina/HDPI support for author profile photos? Right now, thy look really blurry when viewed on a modern smartphone, iPad or any computer with a HDPI/retina display like a Macbook, iMac, and many other computer monitors these days.
When we upload a higher-res image, it still appears to be downscaled to only 80 x 80px rather than say 160 x 160.
Could you please take a look at this?
Many thanks, and hear from you soon.
]]>You can see that the featured image on the shop page is not blurry/grainy like it is on the product page:
https://aptiondc.com/shop/
https://aptiondc.com/product/aption-sweat-pants/
So it doesn’t make sense why it would be blurry on the product page because the image quality is high. Leads me to believe it is a rendering issue from the plugin
]]>For some reason my photos are displaying very grainy/blurry once uploaded to wordpress. It just started happening today, the post I did 2 days ago the photos look fine.
What I already tried:
Uploading at the exact size needed and choosing “display full size”
JPG saved as sRGB, “sharpen for web”
tried both 72 ppi and 240 ppi
tried uploading large file size, and uploading smaller file sizes
tried deactivating the plugins I updated in the last 2 days
(and yes the photos are sharp and in focus when viewed locally)
…Nothing seems to make a difference and I’m out of ideas! If somebody could please help I would appreciate it so much. Not sure why this just became an issue but my latest post looks like crap. Thanks in advance!!
]]>When I want to place a slider as a banner or anything that involves an image on the homepage, I get a huge main image when first loading the site, and then it shrinks down to the “correct” size.
The problem seems to stem from either Woocommerce or WordPress image settings, the Imsanity Plugin or this Theme. We use Flatsome as our theme and I notice that when I set image_size=”full” or “medium” or even px there is no effect. Some images that are smaller are blown up on the main page to compensate.
My settings are as follows:
Home Page code for a basic slider with the images
[ux_slider style=”container” arrows=”reveal” bullets=”false” nav_color=”light” infinitive=”true” auto_slide=”true” columns=”4″]

What does this mean?
I’ve had a couple of issues today out of nowhere, and I wonder if it’s all related…
First, I noticed that newly added images are blurry all of a sudden. I updated several photos from a post today and you can clearly see that some are blurry and some aren’t. https://www.loveyourselfgreen.com/2015/03/grain-free-cookies/
Also, I tried to update my Jetpack plugin and got a fatal error. It seems that I can’t update that at all now.
Can anyone help me with these issues?
]]>Anyone else have a problem with this? It’s not the thumbnail view, it’s the actual view of the photo when you click on it. Here is the link, and thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
