Need Help Adding "Newer" "Older" Page links to theme

Hi,

I installed a great theme called, Blue Zinfandel, found here: https://www.bestwpthemes.com/blue-zinfandel/, and this theme does not include newer/older page links at the bottom of the home navigation page.

I’m an html code amateur but have used wordpress for a few years. I just can’t seem to find the right plugin or code online, & where to put it to add in that page navigation.

Please help!

blue zinfandel unordered list problem

As the subject indicates, can’t seem to get the unordered list function to work. Ordered works fine, so does blockquote. But with unordered I simply get the “list” itself without any bullets. The theme seems to indicate in the screenshots that it is capable, but I’m clueless where to begin to figure out why it won’t and would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

I’m using Blue Zinfandel 2.0 enhanced. I realized that there’s no link to view older posts that are outside of the post per page limit.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there anyone who think they can help me?

I’ve been playing with this template all evening, I have everything figured out (well almost) except the stupid comment area is way out of wack. It runs way to far to the right overflowing to the right column.

I’ve downloaded this same template from different sites, but they all have the same problem.

I am using the Blue Zinfandel Enhance theme which does not come with a header, just header text and description. I would like to add my own header image, obviously also with a link back to the home page. How do I go about doing this and figuring out the appropriate header size?

Blue Zinfandel theme injection

Hello All,
Recently I got an annoying viagra link displayed in the Home of a blog I manage. To put it short, I’ve discovered that the culprit was the theme I was using, Blue Zinfadel, that has been tampered with base64coded commands to link a viagra site.

To get rid of the problem – AFAIK – in heaeder.php do remove this
and in r_sidebar.php this one if(!function_exists("get_credits")) { eval(base64_decode($f1)); } if ( function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') && dynamic_sidebar(2) ) : else : ?>

Honestly, I don’t remember from where I downloaded the theme (that, BTW, worked fine for months until a week ago). Since, obviously, I have no doubt of the theme’s author good faith, my guesses are that somebody realized a Blue Zinfandel tampered and unauthorized version, or that my blog has been specifically attacked.

Anyway, the problem now is (hopefully) gone, and I just wanted to share the workaround.

CSS help needed to resize column

I am using a lightly-modified version of the Blue Zinfandel theme on my site www.word-detective.com. As you can see, each post has Adsense code at the end. The center column is 478 px wide, the text margins 440 px wide. At the moment, I can only fit 234 x 60 text ads there, but I’d like to fit 468 x 60 image ads there. The margins/padding screw that up.

Is there a way to keep the margins as-is for text and somehow turn off the margins around the ad code? Or is there a better way to fiddle with the width of the center column without screwing up the page layout?

what’s wrong with my comment box?

I’m using Blue Zinfandel (three column) at www.myfavoriteword.com. I have made minor modifications (header, page font size), but nothing major.

If you go to a single post page, the comment box overlaps the right column weirdly. What’s weirder is that this seem to be a Firefox problem — I tested it in IE and it looks fine. I know that Brian Garner’s themes are carefully constructed, so maybe I’m doing something wrong. But if I park a fresh install of the theme on a test domain I have, the same thing happens.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
