Blog post titles in the main area are showing up as the same title but when you look on the side where it says latest posts, they are showing up correctly.

Hello,

I am having an issue with my Blog post Titles. The title is correct in admin. However, when viewing my blog. The title does not show. Instead, there is just a series of numbers. Below is what shows on the blog page

The title only shows when the “read more” is clicked. In addition, the title also shows correctly in Recent Posts when the “Read More” is clicked (See Below).

Remove Hyphens from Blog Post Titles

I am helping a friend with his WordPress blog.

When he looks at his blog posts on Firefox, Chrome or Mobile, sometimes the blog post titles hyphenate — and he does not want that.

When I look at his blog posts on Firefox, Chrome or Mobile, they DO NOT hyphenate.

I am at a loss because I cannot replicate the problems that he is having.

WP Version: 4.7.3
Theme: 2016 (Child)

I have tried inserting the following CSS…

h2.entry-title {
	hyphens: none;
}

…in the child theme’s style.css file, as well as “Customizing Additional CSS” via Appearance > Edit CSS. Putting that CSS in either place does not have any effect.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Hi,

I have checked the ‘hide title’ box on my blog posts and have included my own title and date format as I prefer the way it looks. This works well when I read my posts using the ‘Recent Posts’ widgets (in the footer and the blog sidebar). However, when I click on the ‘Blog’ page in my custom menu it shows all the titles. I can’t work out how to hide these. Please help.

Blog Post Titles not showing up on Blog Page

Hey everyone –

I am running the Sela theme on my WordPress site (laurenperrystudio.com) and have it set so that my Home Page is static, and my blog posts go to my “Blog” page (see the Blog link on my main menu bar). Everything has been working swimmingly, but for some reason I can’t get my Blog Post Titles to show up on my blog page. I’m sure it’s simple CSS that I’m missing – but none of my troubleshooting thus far has worked.

The blog titles show up on the sidebar under “Recent Posts” but not on the page body itself.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

I am running WordPress 3.8 and I am trying to figure out how to change the font of my blog posts. I don’t know much about CSS or coding, but I want to change the font if possible. I am using eleven40 pro theme.
