Can’t get rid of blog name on home page tab

I believe that I have adjusted the setting so that the blog name should not appear on my homepage tab. In Settings, on the Additions tab I have enabled ‘Remove blog name from the title? [?]’

However my home page tab is:

Elevated Italian Cuisine | Elevated Italian Cuisine

I would be grateful of any help, I am kinda stuck here.

Old website name still showing in some places, including e-mails

I recently migrated my www.remarpro.com blog from a private server run by a friend to Bluehost. After I migrated the blog, I changed its name from “Great are the Works of the Lord” to “Whatever is True.”

Everything is working fine, except the old name of the blog is still appearing in two places. Most importantly, when my subscribers receive e-mails notifying them of new posts, the old name still appears in the e-mails.

Also, this blog shows up on my WordPress.com account with the old name. When I try to change the name in “Settings” on wordpress.com, it looks changed. However, when I log out and log back in, it has reverted back to the old name.

How can I fix these erroneous old name appearances?

When I try to share articles to Twitter, Pluspora and others, the link looks like this:

I don’t know if this is the website name, authors name or where it comes from but another site suggested if I got Yoast SEO I could fix this. So I assume it’s an SEO thing.

What would you suggest?

“Blog Name Location” function not working

Hi,
just updated to latest version and titles went haywire. Mainly issue is that “Blog Name Location” doesn’t do anything. Whether its left to right or right to left the site name is always first. In the new version it also displays sitename at the end of the title. Which creates this weird site title for a product page for example: “Blog name | Product page name | Blog name”.

I can remove the second blog name by checking the “Remove the blog name?” box. Though I am not sure if this is smart move since it says search engines may ignore my title if I do this. But this way I get “Blog name | Product page name” as title which is better but I would prefer “Product page name | Blog name”.

Is there an issue with the plug in or is there something that I am missing?

I want to translate this “home” and “blog” for each langauge as different, how to do this please? My theme is “God Grace”, I tried as well to install loco translate, but without success, it just do not find it in the string translations.

SEO effects of removing blog name from title?

Love your plugin, just recently switched and love how straight forward it is.

My little problem is that one of my sites has quite a long blog name, and it takes a lot of pixel space in post title. In the settings there is an option to remove the site name from title, but you warn to only do it if I am aware of SEO effects.

What are these effects exactly? There is almost no information on it in google. Also, if brand name is so important, maybe an option to shorten the blog name in titles would work?

My blog posts have the blog name 2x when shared on social media. I can not figure out where to look to fix it. I have All in One SEP pack activated but I checked the settings there and in WP General and I do not see anything wrong. can someone please help me out? I’m including two links to social media posts so you can see what it is doing.

Hello! I use your plugin to fetch feeds from blogs and assign them to new posts on wordpress. It’s working great, but is there a way to fetch and print the blog/website name to the created post title in addition to the already fetched rss feed post title? Can I do this with WPEMATICO PRO?

Or is there a way I can label the feed with PRO? Like a custom field for the name of the blog.

Blog Name Question

Hello – I have set up the plugin but am curious as to where the Blog Name is generated from. In my case, my WordPress Blog is called – “How to Grow Your Restoration Business” and the Blog name that comes up in the emails to subscribers is “J2Development Services” – which is an old name.

I’ve checked in Customize Site and it’s correct there. I’ve selected “How to Grow Your Restoration Business” in the dropdown for Send Email From.

Is it possible it’s getting it from Google?
