Unable to save new post after updating to WP5.5

Hi there,

I have just updated my website to WP5.5 and after that I have been trying unsuccessfully to save a new post or even preview it…

When I click the save button, the butting changes in to the state of buffering but it stays like that for forever.
When I click on view preview, a new tab opens but all I get is a wordpress logo and the text “generating preview” which also stays like that forever.

I have done some digging and the most common solutions to this problem have been:
– If you have a “security” plugin, try turning it off.
– If you have any rules in your .htaccess that reference “wp-json”, then remove those rules.

I have no security plugin, have no “wp-json” reference in my .htaccess file so this doesnt apply to me.

ALSO: I am using the SEOpress plugin which shows this error after the update:
Warning: Use of undefined constant SEOPRESS_PRO_VERSION – assumed ‘SEOPRESS_PRO_VERSION’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /home/customer/www/adventurespursuit.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-seopress/inc/admin/admin-metaboxes.php on line 185

Can someone please explain what to do? I have no technical background so please be specific when you are responding.

All Blog Excerpts and Posts are now blank

All 3 of the wordpress sites that I administer have serious issues. I have searched the forums and not found any similar issues. The URL’s are below. On all sites the blog exerpts on the home pages are blank and when I click on the read more button the blog is blank except for the featured image. I added new posts to 2 of the 3 sites and this has happened to all of them for some reason. I don’t understand what the issue is here. I tried disabling plugins and that didn’t seem to change anything.

Only 1 Blog Post Showing Breaking Pages

Hello,
Please help, a site I work on https://integrityomaha.com/integrity-roofings-blog/ blog only showing 1 blog post on the blog page. In Settings>Reading I have # of blog posts set to 5. I am not sure what the issue is, last week the entire site preformed just fine. I’ve made no updates, just had a copywriter add the newest blog post.

Also when viewing the newest individual blog post it only shows the header: https://integrityomaha.com/why-a-roofer-with-integrity-matters/ but on previous posts its show the entire page: https://integrityomaha.com/omaha-roofing-company-beats-out-of-town-chasers/

Categories are also only showing header: https://integrityomaha.com/category/uncategorized/”>https://integrityomaha.com/category/blog/

Any suggestions?

Bt the problem is the theme i’m using doesn’t allow me to remove the line “Click here to get the best wordpress themes by Bestpremiumwp.com.” on the right sidebar. whenever i try to remove this the theme gets deactivated.the same thing happens even if i modify the code over there.please help me out.i don’t want that on my blog.thanks in advance

My website’s blog was display fine the other day. I boot it up today and everything is screwy. The request a quote is supposed to be in the righthand column and it was for a while. Now I look at the code and somehow it managed to get moved into the lefthand column. Could some take a look and recommend a way to move it?

Migrating from old domain to new domain

Hi,

As the topic says, what I’ve actually done was;
1. Copied all the file contents from old domain to new domain.
2. Took a back-up from old database, import it to new database.
3. Downloaded “find and replace plugin” & tried fixing the URLS.

I can access the new URL since I’ve propagated the blog properly. But, I can’t access posts because each time when I click it says “404 not found”.

Can anyone advice me whether I’ve missed anything within the process. I really want the old file contents. Because, all themes and modification are within that.. : /

Windows Live Writer issue and WordPress 2.6x

Hi, Im having a problem, I use Windows Live Writer to Blog WordPress with the Latest version, I moved the Blog to my server, since it was at a free host working great but I moved to my domain, but now everytime I or the staff blogs, Instead of the Blog page showing a Proper blog, it then looks like HTML Blogged.

Why is this happening?
