Blog disappeared after moving hosting

I was trying to move my blog to 123.reg and to set up SSL. As part of the process I was prompted to reinstall WP which I did. My blog is now empty although the plugins show. Can I retrieve my posts etc? Thx Laura

Hi there,
I cannot find my blog anymore. I haven’t logged on in several years because I fell very ill with cancer. Now I wanted to return to my blog and it has disappeared completely. But I never received any notice or emails notifying me of the permanent deletion of my blog. Am I using the wrong website? heikewrites is my handle. I had a second handle, a ‘secret’ blog, that had the handle hereicanbe. This one has also disappeared. I am heartbroken. Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it.

I was still building up my blog but today I didn’t find it anymore: there is a kind of blank template and everything seems to have disappeared (theme, post and pictures – everything). Please help (and use a simple language: I’m an absolute beginner and an older person)! Thanks.

Just updated WP now blog AND admin screen are blank!

I just updated to 4.61 from a much older version of WordPress (not sure which one because I haven’t touched the blog in 3 years)and the admin dasboard screen suddenly went completely blank. The blog is completely blank too! What can I do? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Site is missing

Hi there.

This afternoon the home page of my blog disappeared. I could still access my posts via the direct link and could get into the dashboard.

And then everything vanished. No posts, not dashboard, no nothing. I had tried to update the site, but nothing happened (as in I don’t think the update ran at all…it hasn’t the last few times I tried either)

So now I have nothing.

This pops up when I try to access it:

The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

It also says that there are too many redirects (there’s only one, it worked fine before, but I deleted it and reestablished it several times today in an attempt to fix it)

How do I fix this? I don’t code so simple is best, please.

Thanks so much in advance. I’m in life crisis over here (on a time crunch and need to get my content back up immediately) and any help is appreciated.

During backup, dropbox full, now blog is gone

Hi,
I just tried to backup my site, because I wanted t update WP to a newer version. During the backup process, a message popped up, saying that Dropbox doesn’t have enough space left. I clicked okay, and now UpdraftPlus says that the backup was ‘apparently succesful’.

However, the blog on my homepage is gone now. I haven’t done anything else today, except for looking through a view different themes an it happened right after I tried to backup, so I guess UpdraftPlus must be the problem.

Please, can you help?! I’m really freaking out over this. I was just starting to get a little more viewers and now this has happened!

Can't access /wp-login.php and account shows no blog

Hi folks, our blog has been up for a few years, and today when I went to our site www.jwjsf.org I got the error message “The requested URL / was not found on this server” I also got the same message for /wp-admin and any other link for our posts. And same msg for /wp-login.php

I was able to login to my account using the wordpress.com site and my email and password. But when I went to “My Blogs” it says I don’t have a blog and to create one.

What happened and how can I fix it?

I made no recent changes to the blog, no new plugins or themes and site was working fine yesterday. I did update my billing information on Google Admin today and for awhile it said domain registration suspended and now it says active (but site still not working).

I don’t think it was ever backed-up, where should I look:(

Also just read about brute force attacks, if this is the issue, what can I do now that the site is down?

Entire blog has disappeared after demanding reinstallation

Hi all,

New to these forums, and I inherited the administration of this blog from someone. I went to just look at the blog and it said I needed to install WordPress. I tried multiple times and the blog simply wouldn’t come up, so I gave the site the information it was looking for – just a title, username and password – and it created a new, empty blog with the same URL as the old one.

Help, help, help!

Blog Not Staying Visible

My blog at www.audbiz.com flashes very briefly on screen, then disappears, leaving only the header with “Howdy Admin” stuff on it. I can access the dashboard, see all my posts, pages, etc. I tried disabling all the plug-ins and tried changing the theme (currently twenty eleven).

Please, may I have superSIMPLE help? I’ve searched the forums and even the web and can’t find help with instructions I can follow. I don’t know what precipitated this either.

I was playing with different themes last week and now I can not get onto my website, the wordpress dashboard, nothing. They are both just white screens. So I went to yahoo to try to put a temp website up and it lost all of my information and has this lame site. Ugh! Its been years since I worked on a website and now I’m at square one again.

How do I get my website back through wordpress? Any help would be appreciated.
