Wordfence Blocked Logins via Wordfence Security Network

When Wordfence blocks a login attempt due to ?Wordfence Security Network, do I need to go ahead and also “Block IP” ??
If I manually block an IP that was NOT blocked by the Security Network, what gets checked first on a login attempt? Does it look at my manually “blocked ip” list first to determine if it should be blocked or does it always check the Wordfence Security Network first, even if I had already blocked the IP ?

This is a good plugin, but needs more tweaking.

Going to: SG Security > Activity Log > Blocked tab,
the list of blocked IP’s are not in any order. The list is all over the place from mixed dates to mixed IP numbers.

In other words, it is not in order of date, or IP numbers that we can easily follow to find a specific IP we have blocked.

When the list gets long, it becomes arduous to scan through to get to the IP we want to manage.

Suggestion:
Allow the list to be ordered by date or by IP number by clicking the top column name, or provide a button or text link to do the same thing.

Can you please tell your developers this?

Hi there,
in the weekly wordfence activity e-mail, I see the “Top 10 blocked IPs” BUT why are they not listed under firewall > blocking ?
When they are blocked… why are they not on the blocked list?

it automatically change and allow disabled button

under Stop Spammers — Block Lists
it automatically change and disable allowed buttons
Deleting all Blocked IPs
Deleting all Blocked TLDs automatically

same issue was occuring in earlier but last 2 before it was fixed now it started again that make whole plugin useless

IP getting blocked

I am facing a peculiar problem and am not sure if it is due to Wordfence. I am using Wordfence on my site. I earlier had blocked internal traffic on my site by making filters in the google analytics admin. I had blocked the ip addresses for my home and office network. I have now deleted all the filters (I deleted them yesterday) however to my dismay when I now access my site (I am able to access my site), Google Analytics still does not show my visit and I am unable to test event triggers, etc.

Is there any way wordfence could be responsible for this? I do not remember having entered any ip addresses in wordfence.

Blocked URLs word wrap annoyance

Just found another WF 7.2 annoyance. On the page where one accesses “Immediately block IPs that access these URLs” there is an enormous amount of white space, but the dialog box where one enters URLs is narrow, skinny, and results in longer URLs word wrapping and jumbling things up totally unnecessarily. Ver 6 dialog box is 200 characters wide. Why in the world did you guys change this? So strange. MTN

Blocked IP’s not displayed

Hello,

I am having an issue with blocked IPs and locked out IPs not displaying on the Blocked IPs page. The wheel keeps spinning, but the IPs do not display. I would like to permanently block them, but cannot do this until I could select.

I would appreciate someone more expert on the plugin and code to send some help my way.

Blocked IPs Filter and quick load

With the blocked IP list growing each day and a long page load often driving a site into melt-down (as access stats get updated) could you consider changing the “Blocked IPS” page load logic to only list those IPS just added… with user option to toggle “all” as a second step.

That way we can switch to the page to block recently added IPS as a priority view/action.

Then choose [view all] to see all blocked IPS… with usual access refresh.

Suggestion 2:

Add filters to see blocked IPS by country and by last access date (today, this week, this month, 3 months, 6 months, this year, older)

manually blocked IP's aren't actually being blocked

A few days ago I went through my Live Traffic on www.juliaKline.com and clicked the “block this IP” button for a whole lot of the hits my website had gotten.

Now today I received a summary email from WordFence and when I click on the “Update Blocked IP’s” link, it takes me to a screen that says i have no blocked IP’s. ??? What am I doing wrong?
