It’s been a while since I worked with setting up new comics using Webcomic and I have a question.

I’m experimenting with multiple comics in a single WordPress installation, and every time I click New Collection, the browser goes blank and nothing happens. Any idea what’s going on here?

I’m not sure if this means the feature in broken in the latest version of WP (5.3.2) or if this is happening because I’m using Desktop Server to develop the site.

Here’s what I know:

I tried this using a clean WP install and with multiple ‘stock’ WB themes, so nothing crazy or extreme going on.

I haven’t tried this with Inkblot because I want to move away from Inkblot and use another theme.

I was able to set up a sample collection with Webcomic containing 5 comic strips, and this works perfectly fine in my test site. I only ran into the suspended ‘blank’ screen problem when attempting to create a second collection.

All other WordPress functions and features are working normally (except when locked by the Wordfence Dashboard). I can access all the other Wordfence menu items normally, and can successfully make configuration changes and save them under the Wordfence | All Options menu item. Only the Wordfence | Dashboard menu item causes the blank window.

This occurs under both Chrome Version 77.0.3865.90 and Internet Explorer 11 (haven’t tried other browsers). I’m using the free version of Wordfence.

Works fine on Chrome, just not on Safari. No errors reported in the browser console. I am using WPFC, but have tried it with and without cache.

Anyone else with this problem? Any solutions founds?

I have attempted to debug by deactivating all of the plugins and just activating NextGEN Gallery, but this anomaly still occurs.

Any solution would be greatly appreciated.

I have Gallery Bank Pro Edition activated on website https://carvingfruit.net/gallery/. I have problem on mobile device with Android or Iphone OS, if you open image in gallery, you see empty blank white window of Lightbox Pretty Photo. Could you help how can I fix it?

I’ve tested on both PC and Mac, using the latest version of Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Opera. It’s the same on all platforms and browsers.

What I’ve tried:

1. Disabled all plugins, and then, to make sure there was no conflict, renamed the plugins folder
2. Changed to a default WordPress theme
3. Added “define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS'”, false); to wp-config.php
4. Made sure all file permissions were correct
5. Deleted the wp-admin folder and wp-includes folder and uploaded fresh copies.
6. Checked the .htaccess file – it doesn’t show anything other than the standard WordPress mod_rewrite code.
7. I read on another thread that “Use Google Libraries” plugin would help, so I installed it. No change.
8. Disabled and re-enabled the visual editor.
9. Upgraded php to 5.4
10. Enabled Debug mode – it shows no errors

I’m open to any ideas, because I’m stumped.

I have searched everywhere and I can’t seem to find where the theme tells the social media icon links how to behave. The social media icons are in the header. And all I’m attempting to do is open the facebook and twitter links in _blank windows. I’ve done this on other sites no problem, but I’m at a loss as to find the right spot to edit.
