Backup file grows without changes in website

Hi!

After a month or so of not making any changes to the website, we had a 4GB backup of the previous changes stored. New users registered and so, so I created a new backup file so that new users get saved in the new backup. Thing is, the new backup is 8.3GB.

Could this be logs or cache that is being saved in the backup? If so, is there a way to disable this feature?

An Error sending bigger file on the website (set up as a big file)

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with the Contact Form 7 and file uploading.
I set up the limit to 25mb (so some reason doesn′t let me to increase the limit to 50mb). I left with the limit to 25mb. I can attach a file (more or less) 8mb and send – works OK. Bigger files then this, when I try to send them causing a problem (white font on the white background):

THERE WAS AN ERROR TRYING TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.

I think I try everything, removing plugins, changing limits, even guys from support couldnt find a reason why.

How to skip a directory during creating a backup

I have some folders where I have some archive files like .zip file (20gb in size). Now I want to migrate the site to my localhost or to another host just to test something by using your All in One Migration plugin. Now is there any way to skip those folder when I will hit the Export button in the plugin? Thanks in advance.

Copying only one directory

Just found out that when scanning the main directory of a website, which contains subdomains the plugin index the subdomain dirs as well and outputs a really big package to be created. Is there a way to index only the files and dirs of the main website without the subdomains?

Problem uploading big backup file to AMAZON S3

Hi,
I’m trying the plugin on one of my website.
Zipped file is about 3 GB and I configured the job to upload it to Amazon S3.
The job fail with this Error:
“ERROR: S3 Service API: The specified upload does not exist. The upload ID may be invalid, or the upload may have been aborted or completed”
but when I configured my credentials, it showed me all the buckets so credentials are correct.
What can I do to solve the problem?

Problem with big files?

Hello imath,
I just install buddydrive on a local server.
I test the sending of an 360 Mb AVI (php.ini and bdd upload limit size are set on 1.5gb) and nothing happen when the file is uploaded.
The file don’t appear in the Buddydrive folder, btw the ajax popup with upload progress and nothing then.
It works fine with lighter files (e.g. 5mb pdf, no problem)

Any clue ?
