When I add a product that people can bid on, I see that the starting price is 0? In the settings I wrote a number.

The buy now button also shows 0 euro.

Also, I do not see a button or something to bid? How can I add this?

Also, there’s an option to add items to a watchlist, and that seems to work, but when you go to click on the watchlist it directs me to the account page but the watch list is no where to be found. Thank you!!

2) “Vendors” can register
Each have their own custom dashboard and account types with certain features the other doesn’t have.
In theory, the customer would make an account and publish a listing (requesting a quote for a service, nothing is actually sold online). The vendors now, from their dashboards, could see this listing, and bid on it.
The customer could privately message each vendor who has quoted on their bidding and view their vendor’s profile until they decide which vendor they want to take up. Up until then, they can only contact through the site, and any attempt to share on email, phone number or any other mode of 3rd Party contact would be censored/blacklisted.
Once the client has accepted a vendor’s quote, they make a payment to the site, which gives the vendor the client’s information and at that point the blacklist on contact information is removed for that particular vendor.

Please let me know if this can be done through this plugin.

I know that was a lot but if it can theoretically be done by a particular plugin or some other method (as in it has all those features) please let me know. I’ve tried a few plugins and they’ve each fallen short in one way or another. I haven’t tried Woocommerce because I don’t know which extensions I would need since the basic one certainly can’t do that. Thank you for your time.

I would like users to be able to submit a bid on listings.

Listing: “Shipping my car from Toronto to Vancouver”
User: Can then “Submit a bid” on each job and it appears for people who are logged in.

Is there already a plugin or add-on that does this?

I recently bought the FreelanceEngine theme (https://www.enginethemes.com/themes/freelanceengine/) and I am using it alongside the Jobseek theme so I can achieve the exact idea behind my company’s website. Basically, I am using the Jobseek just for the Homepage, About us and Contact page with some elements removed. The buttons added to the Homepage as well as the pages in the navigation menu bar bring you to the FreelanceEngine theme features. There are two of its features, though, that I would like to remove for now- one is the bidding process and the other one is the paid options. I am new to WordPress and I am not proficient with coding so I asked the theme developers if they could help me with that… And they refused. Now, if I do not make those changes my website would not work the way I want it and all the money and hard work I invested in my project would be wasted. I would be really thankful if someone could guide me and give me any advice on how I can manipulate the theme so that it serves my purposes. I know this include some coding and this is why I decided this is the best place where I can receive answers to my questions because most of the people here are professionals. I am just having my first baby steps into WordPress webdesign but I am willing to learn and advance. I would not mind sending screenshots or login info if someone is willing to help me with this.

Ideally, we want any bidder to receive additional time if they try to snipe (bid in the final seconds) and find out they’re still being outbid.

As it is, the plugin doesn’t add additional time for bidding when both “proxy bidding” and “sniping” feature is on and a new bid is made in the final seconds. The plugin does add additional time when “proxy bidding” is turned off.

Are there any settings that you could recommend to achieve this?

The payments work just fine when I use the insta buy button but if i try to use the link send to me by email after winning a auction I get nothing. No confirmation message when I get send back from the paypal page either. Simply nothing happens besides the money being taken from my sandbox account.
