I manage references in Zotero and export in BibTex (or Beter BibTex) and there’s generally good compatibility, though my (Mac) install of Zotero generates an empty first line that has to be deleted before being read by teachPress or else no items get created. Given that this issue was raised previously by @tfriedri (Can’t import bibtex), I’d like to echo the request for the plugin to ignore any initial blank lines before reading data.
Also, the manipulation of the display of publications is handled by PHP, which works fine in normal operation, but this causes issues when creating static snapshots (e.g, when using wget, it generates many additional pages). Ideally, I’d like to see (the option of using) JavaScript instead, as with bib-publication-list on GitHub. Is this possible?
Thank you.
]]>Now I installed version 7.0.3, and the Authors table does not get populated upon import.
I tested this by using the same BibTex file and, while the Publications table gets correctly populated in both versions, the Authors table is populated only in the old version of teachPress.
The situation is the same if I add a publication manually.
Any idea about what the problem may be?
Thanks for your help.
the plugin seems to very nice. Great job. One question, is there a change to replace the RIS cite with a BibTex entry? That is an important feature for us, currently we are using papercite.
Thanks,
Jan Martin

often the wrong publication is displayed as it assumes the first occurrence of the bibtex key. Is there a possibility to worry about getting a unique Bibtex key generated?
Or is there only the possibility to go beyond the id of the publication?
But the ID Tag don’t work in Template!

If only the ID is possible, there is a possibility to deactivate the bibtex code so that it does not have to be entered. Since I do not really need this anyway.

]]>Just wondering if it is possible to remove the BibTex link that shows up at the bottom of each publication? We are using your wonderful app for an academic research organization page and it gets cluttered and confusing with this addition. Thanks!
]]>I know you might be extremely busy with your dissertation. I discovered Zotpress a few days ago and loved it immediately. I was looking for a tool that could get updated as I update my publication list somewhere, and the combination Zotero + Zotpress is perfect for that.
The only feature that is lacking from my viewpoint is the possibility of exporting citations into Bibtex format. From what I understand, the “cite” option in the shortcode is hardcoded to export citations in the RIS format. In my field of research, nobody uses RIS and most people will find much more useful having citations exported in Bibtex format.
Do you think this would be doable in a future version of the plugin?
Best regards,
Claudio
