I’ve never seen anything like this, but figured it was a glitch so I went ahead and upgraded (manually) to beta 3. When I returned to my admin area it said I needed to upgrade the database ,which I did. Then it returned to the same admin panel devoid of data. I checked the database and it’s fine.

Any ideas?

When I try to edit the page, and manage the gallery, I get prompted to download the .php file instead of loading the gallery tab on Firefox, and on IE, I just get a “Page not found” error.

Image uploading in posts and pages is also broken. The “Edit” section in the media tab, also prompts me for download.

I noticed this problem this morning, and then updated to the latest nightly build in hopes of fixing it to no avail.

So, to summarize it all up:

• I cannot upload images, stuck at “Crunching…”
• I cannot edit Media files, prompts for .php file download
• Media management in post/page edit is broken
• Simgle images work, but when a gallery is displayed, page is loaded blank (see example above)

I’m playing around with 2.7 and it’s going great! I’ve come across a stumbling block though, in adding my own custom fields using add_meta_box.

It appears that 2.7 Beta 3 doesn’t want anything to do with it, as upon activating a plugin (or adding such a feature into my functions.php) the WordPress installation returns a blank page. Nothing else, just loads a blank page. So I assume there’s an error in there somewhere.

I’ve tried adding custom fields using this tutorial:

And when I thought that it might be because 2.7 uses some coding that somehow messes with old code like that, I used another tutorial specifically for 2.7:

So I assume it’s something that’s messed up since going into BETA 3.

Any ideas?

I’ve upgraded to WP 2.7 B3 and all the comments, written in Cyrillic are with very strange encoding. Strange is that when I try to edit them, I can read everything in the admin panel. Same problem with new comments.
