The Basically Theme – My comment box is all screwed up in IE and Chrome. I’m having 2 issues:

— ISSUE #1: —
The Name, Email, and Website portion of the comment box (just above the comment box) is too long causing the words “Name”, “Email”, and “Website” to stretch over too far to the right thus over-running the sidebar column. In Chrome, the sidebar column blocks it out. In Internet Exlorer, the words sit on top of the sidebar widgets. That’s because the area to enter your Name, Email and Website is way too long. How do I shorten the input boxes so that those words do not run into the sidebar area? (I don’t think it’s a sidebar issue.)

When you answer, I need to know: (1) WHICH sheet to edit, (2) WHAT code to search for to edit, (3) EXACTLY WHERE to find that code and (4) HOW it should be edited by giving an example.

— ISSUE #2: —
The “Comment” box in Chrome and Internet Explorer is stuck in the sidebar area thus hiding behind the sidebar’s widgets. This means you can not type anything into the comment box as it is not accessible. I have no idea how it got like that. In Firefox, it is in the main column of the website as it should be and not stuck in the sidebar.

So how do I get the “Comment” box out of the sidebar and back into the main column of the website where it should be? Please include in your answer:
(1) WHICH sheet to edit, (2) WHAT code to search for to edit, (3) EXACTLY WHERE to find that code and (4) HOW it should be edited by giving an example.

How to change "Leave a Reply" in the Basically Theme

I want to change the words “Leave a Reply” to something else in the Basiclly Theme. Yes, I am using a child Basically theme. Please write your answer below each question as it makes it so much easier for me to follow:

1) Which sheet should I be editing after going to “Appearance” and “Editor”? There are many sheets to choose from.

2) WHAT is the exact code of words I should be searching for to make the change to?

3) Exactly WHERE can that code be found?

4) Please show an example. You can use the words “Have Your Say” instead of “Leave A Reply”.

Blog title/description – remove from all pages

I thought I had this figured out, but no.

How do I remove the title and description from the header? I previously inserted the following into the end of the stylesheet.css, but it only removed it from some pages — not all.
#header h1 { display:none }
.description {display:none;}

I am trying to create a favicon. I uploaded the .ico file to my theme and followed the WordPress instructions for adding the line to my .css stylesheet, however, this does not change the favicon for my site. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Removing subtitle text from header (Basically theme)

How do I remove the subtitle text from the header of my blog? See: www.denhamonadime.com. I successfully removed the header text by following these directions:

Note: This theme does not have the option to “hide” title/subtitle in the Appearance->Header section.
