Can’t uncheck “Update when posts have been edited” anymore

The plugin is sending tweets each time I update a post. I went to the basic settings in order to deactivate this but there seems to be an issue with the basic settings of the plugin. When I uncheck “Update when posts have been edited” and save it the new setting won’t be saved. Instead, the hook reappars as soon as I save the new settings… Seems to be a bug.

Our website is currently being translated into English. For this purpose we have also set up new web-to-lead forms and integrated them into the website.
The fields Success Message, etc. were added to the individual forms in English. However, these are not displayed, but the messages under Basic Settings.
It is mentioned in the individual fromulars that the messages entered here will be overwritten. But this is not the case.

The linked web page is still the german variant, as the english one has not been finally published yet.

Subscribe in registration form does not work

First, thanks for the plugin, we are still trialling it.

Under Basic Settings, when setting up the list to subscribe in the “Subscribe in registration form” field, even if you select a list it only signs users up to the WordPress Users list, ignoring the list you selected. This issue appears to be nearly 3 years old and as yet unsolved.

So, its a significant draw back when considering to buy.

Another issue is that Mailpoet 3 consistently fails to auto-update. Plus the validation key drifts and has to be re-validated quite often.

Website error after using WP-Optimize

Hi,

I just installed WP-Optimize and did some optimisations, caching and deleted a few tables which I believed were not in use. Ofcourse I did not read well and did not do a back-up before.

Now my website looks like it’s gone back to basic settings. When I visit my site with an incognito tab, I can see the normal homepage but whenever I go to another page or blog I see the basic version again.

Please advise what I can do

In the basic settings you can filter the_content, the_excerpt, the_title

The documentation has the following explanation of this feature:

7. Apply filters during publishing – Please select the filters if you want to apply these filters while publishing the post.

But what does this mean? It doesn’t explain or clarify what the filters do. It just reiterates that you can apply filters during publishing.

I have no idea what the effect of applying these filters is.

On the Discussion Settings do I check out boxes?

Hi, I am fairly new to using WordPress and need some assistance setting up the emails. I am using Hostgator and need to know the basic settings for managing my sites outgoing emails..?? I have the email template set-up, however I’m also confused on where I can edit the outgoing emails?? Last question, is the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin better/easier to use alongside hostgator than the WP-SMTP plugin?

Any and all help is much appreciated!
