Jetbackup restore. How do I do this?
]]>i have a pretty big problem here.
So I had an Error on my site and my only solution was downloading the “wp-reset” plugin, use it – and upload my Backup via FTP.
It worked all fine, my Plugins are all back BUT somehow my pages dont show. I have an “example page” and a policy test page. But not my 20 pages I designed and filled with texts.
I have 30k/monthly visitors and I really need to get my pages back, so I dont have to recreate it all.
About my Backup: I have a backup of the whole folder on my FTP, which was made before the Error came up. So I thought I can just delete my website, upload the Backup on my FTP Server and everything is good. But it isnt – my content is missing…
Im reaaally upset and out of solutions, so I hope somebody could maybe help me out…
Best Regards!
Béla
Is there a solution to this please?
Thanks

I have UpdraftPlus setup to use Google Drive. Al backups were working fine. I have noticed now that weekly backups have not been working since October.
I am getting the message “Backup directory specified exists, but is not writable.Follow this link to attempt to create the directory and set the permissions, or, to reset this option press here”. The settings on the “updraft” directory are 0775 so should be OK I think.
I also noticed the message “Exception (Google_IO_Exception) occurred during backup uploads to the googledrive. Exception Message: The stream IO handler requires the allow_url_fopen runtime configuration to be enabled (Code: 0, line 51 in /home/openhous/public_html/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/Google/IO/Stream.php)” in the log file. The option allow_url_fopen was not enabled. I have now enabled it.
I am still not able to get the backup to run.
Could it be there is not enough space for the backup? Any help is much appreciated?
Thanks Lesley
]]>I’ve tried a few different times, with similar results each time. This is on MediaTemple if that helps. Plugin version 3.6.10, WP 5.2.2..
Any guidance appreciated.
(This was a task for a client that should’ve taken 5 minutes tops, and now I’ve spent about 45 and have a manual download of all files in progress in FileZilla (NOT ideal).)
Thanks.
]]>I am interested in purchasing the Premium version of Updraftplus for my wordpress managed website. But I am not sure whether this is a good idea because the free version of the plugin has not been able to create any backups and sending them to my Dropbox account. Is it because I may have changed the configuration unexpectedly? The Updraftplus plugin did work well in the past but since 30 March 2017 it has done nothing. Will the paid ‘premium’ version of the Updraftplus be different?
Here are some screenshots of the installation of the plugin in WordPress dashboard and a log file called “log.ad6fd6f12009”:
