Can’t upload updraft backup through free updraft plugin

Earlier I had no problem with uploading backup files to updraft and restoring my site while changing servers.

But recently database file, a plugin zip file and a upload zip file is returning error code 200 – telling to check maximum upload size, enough disk space on server, making sure that you are uploading zip files earlier created by updraft.

I am using AWS ec-2 server and there is no disk space filled, and I had also increased maximum file size to 1 gb through a plugin. But the problem is not solved and now I can’t restore my website.

Please help me with updraft.

Can I upload updraft backup files via File Zilla ?

Hi, I can’t access my wp-admin page. Something is wrong with my site and I need to restore it to a backup point. How do I access my backup files? I don’t see them on the server database as what I found are just file references. Live chat is not responsive. There is no response on social media accounts of Backup Guard for private messages.

Hello,
My site was infected with malware. I want to delete all files, restore Word Press, and restore a backup I have from UpdraftPlus. But I’m not sure if they were remotely, so before deleting all, I want to make sure I save them from the server. Where are they stored and with which file name?

Hi WordPress. I need to communicate with one of your support team. My hosting provider (GoDaddy) canceled my hosting plan while I was traveling and state that they are unable to recover my ‘backup files’. Are you able to recover these files on your side so that my website can live on? It’s taken me 2 years to build to the point where it is now and I’d love to continue using WordPress to power it going forward.

Created a back up but cannot download

I have created a full backup using the plugin and when navigating to back ups this is now visible.

However, when I click on download a small window opens, all white with only the text displaying “Please wait…”

No download happens.

How can I fix this?

Can’t manually download backups

I am not able to manually download backups on several sites I manage. When I click the download link, from the topbar icon, or from the Dashboard BackWPup Backups submenu, the white box with “Please wait…” pops up, and nothing else happens.

I have reproduced this in multiple browsers and on multiple sites. They are all on the same host so far, but I am also able to download backups of other sites in the same account on the same host without a problem, so it can’t be a server issue. The sites have no plugins in common other than BackWPup and Wordfence (and I am able to download normally from many sites with Wordfence).

I had posted to another thread someone else started abut this same issue, which you closed without an apparent resolution. You told that poster to press F12 when “Please wait” came up, and report any error messages that appeared on the Console tab, so I tried that on two sites. Both showed:

I hope you can provide a fix for this soon. I have worked very hard to persuade my clients to donwload their backups on a regular basis, and now download isn’t working. I can download them via FTP, of course, but most of my clients don’t have that level of technical comfort.

Several sites – Use of Download link in Manage Backup Archives fails. After clicking the download link a window opens with “Please wait …” message. Download does not occur.

A different site – Download occurs but Please Wait window stays open.

It does daily, weekly, scheduled-when-you-want, and “right now” backups and sends an email notice. So I can go in and grab a backup and put it on my computer and/or on the cloud. I noticed another backup that did a bit more cost “only” $80 for one site. That’s more than I’ve ever paid for a plugin or theme. That one seemed like a good idea for a corporate IT department that wanted fully automated backups to the cloud. Not knocking it, but that’s more than I need.
