My Backup always fails the 1st time

Whenever I do a full backup manually, it always fails on the first try. When I try again, it works. This has just started in the last few months. It was working fine before. I also tried to do a restore about a month ago and it didn’t work. Fortunately after half an hour later the site was working again. I am concerned that my backups aren’t really backing up.

Everything is up to date, plugins, themes, Worpress. Could this have something to do with the php? My php version is 3.2.

“noname” in place of Database Backup

I am running WordPress 5.6 with the latest version of WP-DB-Backup (version 2.3.3). When I take a backup it goes through all the motions of backing up and sends out the email. The backup (progress indicator) is operating and is taking a few minutes so I know it is reading the database. However, when I open up the email that was sent at the conclusion of the backup there is an attachment, but it does not contain the database data. The name of the database in the attachment is “noname” with no data.

I also tried using version 2.3.1 with the same results.

Has anyone run into this problem before? Any help will be appreciated.

Cannot backup with updraftplus on local host

I have developed a small wordpress site using WAMP on my pc to set up a local host. I have installed Updraftplus to test out my use of it before going “live” by exporting my site to an external host but cannot backup to Google Drive or to email. I keep getting the message “not finished” under Existing Backups and it tries again after about 3 minutes but eventually exits. I have tried splitting backups to as little as 25 Mb but that makes no difference. Help please.

Updrafts plugin is running into some issues with manual update,it is showing an error log but finishes update with some delay.The remote storage back up option is giving error , tried disconnecting or switching the id’s associated but gives me an ssl certificate error 526

The total website size including database is about 350 MB.
The remote storage location is Amazon S3.

I am new to blogging and trying to use Updraftplus to setup a backup. Have tried to backup to “Onedrive” “googledrive” etc – with no luck. Backup starts and then hangs after about 15 mins of activity. A logfile iis at Dropbox and link provided.

Backups not appearing

Hi there, we use UpdraftPlus to backup our charity website to DropBox. I run it manually before big changes. It has stopped working, but shows no obvious error message. Just the files don’t appear in DropBox or in the Restore/Backup list. This was not following any update, and I am using the latest version. I have also checked the DropBox authentication and it seems to be fine.

I have the log file from my latest attempt but it’s 12 pages long so I haven’t included it. I would really appreciate any help – I have no idea (as you can probably tell!)
