I would like to add some kind of colored mask over the slider, something like background: RGBA (0,0,0, .5); ie add a ‘dark transparent div’ covering the total area of the slider images.

it’s possible? how to make it?

I don’t know what version of WordPress I’m using, but this is my 1st website I’ve created and I’m trying to add transparency to my about me and portfolio page. I’m using the tesseract theme and also downloaded the simple custom css plugin as well. Tesseract theme.

I want to make my about me page show an opacity strip with the word “about me” in 100%. On my portfolio page, I want my background photo to have an increased opacity.

But over all, even on the other rows I need them to be transparent as well…. ( i haven’t put in my other background pics yet….

problems with calendar, white background and lost navigation

I have an issue here with the background that lost the white and I know the template is transparent but I want the calendar to have white background for the page. I tried to add in CSS but does not work. Also lost my nav on the calendar page?? Any help would be great. I am sure my client will buy the pro, just have to get it working first.
